Sonnen won the first round and third round decisively with control.


There was no real damage done by either.

First round?

He got Bisping down (once or twice), did no damage and Bisping got straight back up. Bisping then put his back against the wall, hit him with petty shots (not much damage but more than anything Chael did on the ground) and then pipped him in the stand up. He also stuffed a few takedown attempts.

I had rounds 1 and 2 for Bisping. Third round goes to Chael for control. He did little to no damage. Bisping also managed to take Chael down at the end and hit him with a few elbows that did more damage than anything Chael did in that round.


IMO Bisping won the fight 29-28. Pretty close fight, but I feel Bisping was robbed.

This is what I saw too. Chael was missing most of his hyperaggresive punches and wasn't doing much damage on his takedowns or when he had Bisping against the wall. Bisping landed more punches and was generally the more effective fighter.
