    Depends what weight class you're talking about.

    Cutting usually means loss of strength, that's stupid. There are some fairly cut powerlifters out there though.

    power lifters do 3 lifts, bench squat deadlift. and power lifters just eat a sh!t load to get huge and disregard aesthetics

    olympic lifters do olympic lifts that require a lot more training and the exercises get you more ripped.

    olympic lifters care about weight class. most power lifters rather be in the heavy weightclass and see who can lift the most period. there is a heavy weight class for oly lifters also and they look just as fat.

    powerlifter = do not care about weight and extra fat is advantageous for a variety of reasons

    Both sports have their own weight classes, and both sports have men you could consider "fat" in the heavy weight class.

    The lower weight classes have ripped mofos because they have to cut weight to make those weight classes. The heavyweights aren't worried about cutting weight and so are less worried about getting fatter.

    It has little to do with exercise selection, technique, etc.

    There are quite a few powerlifters who remain in the 10-12% bodyfat range. Pretty much anyone in the 220 class or below will be fairly lean for the most part. There is an old saying "mass moves mass" and there is a lot of truth to that saying. All the strongest people on earth are pretty large humans.

    If they are fat it's because they eat too much.

    There are a lot of fat olympic lifters, just like there are a lot of fat powerlifters. And vice versa.
