    Red face Protein Powder?

    Hey ya'll,

    I'm wondering what your favorite protein powder is. I'm kinda overwhelmed by all the different options out there. Right now I'm using the ON double-chocolate Gold Standard Whey. I want to keep gaining muscle, but I am super afraid of anything that would add any fat at all.

    Also, I'm only using protein right after my workouts. I keep hearing that people use it right when they wake up and even throughout the day, but again, I'm too afraid of gaining the wrong kind of weight for that. Any suggestions??

    Stay with ON! Macros are macros so if you want more shakes just fit them into them, if not, I'd stay with food which is obviously superior anyway

    Use it if your lacking in your protein numbers for the day. I would say eat your food first for a couple days and see if your lacking in protein, if you are then add the powder whenever you want during the day. Just hit your numbers.

    As for the best... IMO i like the muscle tech 5lb bag. Its cheap and also tastes great!

    Alright, so it sounds like I'm cool staying with ON. So right now my plan is to keep taking protein only right after workouts. I'll try to eat more foods high in protein throughout the day but won't worry about more protein powder.
