Currently use a BCAA product in the form of Xtend (original version). Typically I use it through a workout for taste and replenishment of spent BCAAs due to weight lifting. 2:1:1 ratio is what I typically aim for, due to scientific studies utilizing that ratio for testing.
I usually eat ~1 hour before working out on most days, but may switch to an unfed workout routine, which would better utilize the BCAA products. I've only tried two BCAA products thus far, and one of them has been discontinued. I've heard rave reviews about the Atomic 7 flavors, and would love the opportunity to try one of them.
Good luck to all

I currently take take Xtend twice a day and it's the only BCAA I've ever taken. I take Xtend during my workout and before bed. I haven't tried anything besides Xtend for BCAA's because I haven't heard of anything that compares to it, so I'd really like to try something else and possibly even find a new BCAA product. It looks like this could even be used as part of my preworkout, which I really like!
I used to be a really big guy, over 330 lbs. Over the last year I've dropped down to 215-220 range and am really starting to get into adding muscle mass, rather than cutting fat and almost completely not caring about muscle loss. I'm wanting to get my bulk stack ready and really power into my bulk phase. BCAA's is the only supp I take on my off-days other than my fish oil and multi, so I believe it's truly an important part of any diet, bulk, cut, etc. I've only tried Animal Pak by Universal, so I'd love to give another of their products a go.Last edited by KwayZee; 01-27-2012 at 12:12 PM.

I’m currently not using a BCAA product but I would like to start using one again. I’d incorporate Atomic 7 into my training and supplementation regime by drinking Atomic 7 intra and post workout. Atomic 7s BCAAs would definitely help me with muscle growth and recovery after the grueling sessions I spend in the gym.
I’ve never tried Atomic 7 but I’d love the opportunity to Bomb My Muscles with some Black Cherry Bomb. Sounds delicious!

One hell of a promo! I have actually have heard pretty darn good things about Atomic 7, it would be awesome to get to try the product!
I currently use Monster Amino and will soon run out of my supply of that and then go to my tub of Xtend that I bought a week ago. I use BCAAS as a means to my intra-workout drink to ensure that my body continues to intake nutrients to help my body repair itself and grow and to also ensure that I got some solid protein synthesis going on! I am big on BCAAs especially when I wasn't able to get a meal in before my workout, so I am essentially working out "fasted".
Would be awesome to try out that Rockin Razz Lemonade!!

First off this is an amazing give-away, thanks for putting this together!
Currently the only BCAA's I'm taking as a supplement involve the BCAA's in MP's assault. I don't use this on a regular basis, as a typical BCAA should, & the dosage in assault is quite minimal as a BCAA product; however, as a student its hard to always afford a continuous supply of new supplements.
Previously I had taken fusion bodybuilding's Agent-M while doing a log with them, & had switched taking it between pre-/post-workouts. This was just a test, but overall for me I believe the best time for a BCAA product is post-workout. I tend to workout early following a solid breakfast of oatmeal with protein mixed into it (before my day of classes start ), such that the additional amino acids aren't necessarily required from a BCAA product prior to the workout. However, after going through a rigorous workout (or even during it) the key point of a BCAA product is to re-fuel your body and provide the essential nutrients for your muscles to avoid a catabolic state, allowing for the best gains possible from your workouts!
I've been looking into incorporating BCAA's more frequently into my normal supplementation regime (multi's, creatine, & general whey protein) so as to continue my gains & hopefully even increase them through a bigger pump, greater endurance/vascularity, faster recovery & overall fuller appearance! This would be an amazing opportunity, & hopefully I'll get the chance of trying this out!!
(have followed mostly along the animal product line in the past with pak/stak/flex, so this would be a nice change-up/addition to the group )Last edited by ccolosim; 01-26-2012 at 09:41 PM.

I am just finishing up a tub of AE's Intrabolic, and while it was pretty good, I didn't really like the taste. I currently use BCAA's during my PHAT workouts and they definitely help out my recovery and stamina since the routine is particularly strenuous. Since I am a busy college student running from class to class, and often times missing lunch, I like to carry a BCAA drink around with me to feed my muscles in between meals. I've heard a lot of great things about Atomic 7 and would love to try out an awesome flavor, since I always make taste a high priority. Thanks for the contest Universal

Would absolutely love to try this product. In two weeks I will be running a mock-contest prep to see where my physique is at for my November debut on stage! I personally always use powdered BCAAs to sip on during the training session for their anti-catabolic/anabolic effects on muscle tissue and strong fight against muscle waste, especially looking for this type of formula during a caloric deficit and training regime that a mock contest-prep demands.
I have used purple wraath and recoup in the past but neither of which packs the 8g BCAA punch that Atomic 7 does. On top of actually needing this in my current training cycle, receiving a bottle would allow me to write a proper and educated review on my Affiliate Website I have for bodybuilding.com.
Crossing my fingers !

Funny. No more than 30 mins ago I walked into a B&M supplement shop to pick up a tub of Atomic 7 Grape only to find that the place didn't carry it, and picked up a tub of Allmax Aminocore instead. I've been using Xtend but have been looking for a tasty replacement, and I thought Atomic 7 Grape would fit the bill - perfect profile without any extras that I don't really want or need. I mainly use BCAAs to promote recovery as my workouts can be fairly intense (I'll drink the stuff both intra-workout and during the day), and I've found that they work for that purpose. Also use them while cutting.
Have to say that Rockin' Raz Lemonade during a summer cut cycle sounds pretty damn delicious. Really nice promo. Gotta hop on the Universal train, if not with Atomic 7 then Animal Pak to start. Have always wanted to incorporate these two.

I drink BCAA's during my leg and back workouts. But not on Chest and Shoulders because I am a student, so I have to budget my supplements.
It's the diet, training and sleeping on a regular consistent basis that makes a champion.

I've used Xtend for a long time now, and loved the grape and watermelon flavors in the original formula. I recently got my first tub of the new formula (which i was already shaky about) in watermelon. I couldn't stand the flavor.. I used it for about a week and had to get rid of it. Currently I am taking Purple Wrath by Controlled Labs for my intra-work out bcaa's. I have grape in that, and the flavor is a little better but nothing compared to the original xtend. I've been looking for something new as I finsh out my purple wrath, and Atomic 7 is at the top of my list. I've looked through my local GNC's and Vitamin Shoppe's and have had no luck. I go through bcaa's quick, as I use them every day while i'm lifting (7 days a week). So I would love to try Atomic 7, Thanks for the oppurtunity, and good luck everybody!

I use Core ABC every day and love it! It helps me with intra workout recovery and with increased work capacity. I also supplement it between meals to spike MPS if I don't have time for a full meal or shake. Really helps having something sweet to drink during a workout too, physically and mentally.

Nice!
Been a fan of Atomic 7 since day one, and I recommend it regularly here and to friends.
I've probably gone through 6 or 7 tubs of the watermelon (see my review), 2 black cherry bomb, and 2 grape. I've been meaning to try the raspberry lemonade for a while.
I incorporate a BCAA supplement like most people, intra workout. Currently rotating between Power Shock & Purple Wraath.

I just got into lifting again and i've got my diet on track. So, my stack besides fish oil, l-glutamine,multi-vitamin, post workout, and recovery protein before and I read up about BCAA supplements and their benefits and i was looking into a brand to get, and its hard to choose one without having any personal experience with a BCAA a supplement because you have so many to choose from like xtend, modern bcca by usp labs and so fourth. So, I need a BCAA supplement that would serve as a during workout and after workout product so I don't feel so sluggish. I'd love to incorporate Atomic 7 into my life!

Bulk BCAA's have been a staple of mine for four years now; I plan to incorporate Atomic 7 twice a day: once during track practice and the other while lifting weights. Atomic 7 would help me tremendously in track as I have about 60-90 seconds between each sprint to recover and with addition of Citrulline Malate this would push my endurance over my limit.
I run 7 days a week and lift 5. Recovery is a key for athlete like me and using this as the season is barely starting to come full swing is a must; I would love to try Atomic 7. Thanks for considering me!

I haven't tried Atomic 7, but I am looking for a new BCAA supp once I finish off the Xtend I have left. I use bulk BCAA on my cardio days. I do cardio fasted first thing in the morning. (5g prior and 5-10 during). On my lifting days, I use 10g intra workout. My current goal is to recomp. In addition, I am only consuming carbs pre and post workout so I am relying on protein and BCAAs to help my body grow and recover since I am not eating as much on cardio days and not getting too many carbs.

Would love to try out Atomic 7 have heard some great things about it and the Black Cherry Bomb appeals to me flavor wise. Currently using RecoverPro before and intra. Sometimes I'll have 2 scoops on off days as well, depending on how I feel. BCAA have definitely helped during workouts and more noticeably post. Before taking BCAAs I would get horrible DOMs, now I barely feel them and I'm kicking azz in the gym.

Hello Universal Family...
Unfortunantly I am currently NOT using a BCAA product. I recently ran out of Xtend. If anybody needs a BCAA product to add to their current stash of supplementation, it is definitely me!
Two major priorities in my life are lifting weights and playing basketball. I HAVE to lift weights and also try and play basketball about 3 times a week. I am currently in one league and another league is starting up again.
There are plenty of days were I will lift in the morning and then play ball at night.
When I train legs, I am generally in alotttt of pain when playing basketball...Atomic 7 would really help me out with this.
I NEED the extra help with recovery otherwise my body will break down due to all the exercising.
If chosen, I would definitely write a review on the product as well as document my progression and hopefully getting rid of my DOMS.Here to help!

Not currently taking anything BCAA Related but I did just get done a few months back with your Amino 1900 and I liked those alot.
Currently doing a power/hyp powerbuilding program and possibly could be on the verge of a cut and could use the extra fuel to burn.
Love Universal products. FTW! This thread made my mouth water! mmm!

this is awesome. I use BCAA's everyday I workout and sip on them throughout my workout. Currently I used the cheapest(poor college student) I can find which is unflavored and not easy to drink but trying atomic 7 with its extra goodies could easily cause me spend a couple extra dollars for a better quality product.
the lemonade flavor looks delicious!Reviews:
