How often do people make it to the gym a week. I try for 3 but often only make it twice.

Married mommy
I'm married with one boy, he will be six months in December. Hubs and I love working out together. Brings us closer together and it's something we both enjoy. He is a good trainer and motivator! I'm already at my pre pregnancy weight and see better results every day our gym has childcare so makes it easier.

Hey everyone, little girl just turned 22 months yesterday and the little fella is turning 7 months in a few days (not that little though, he's already almost as tall as his sister and is only 3 lbs lighter lol), things sure are hectic and to top it off I am dealing with a lower back muscle tear...not fun! Hope you're all doing well.

Thoughts on HIIT
OK needs some thoughts on HIIT training and how you go at it?. The reason im asking is I want to change something up for 6 weeks but it seems strange that Jim Stoppani's program you lift each exercise 10 times before moving to the next muscle, seems you would be better off moving to the opposite muscle next ? Also it doesnt really say either...so open to thoughts ....either way im going to start it.

MY method of HIIT is probably very different from everyone else's but it works for me. On the treadmill I alternate walking at 4.2 mph for 2 minutes with running at 6.2 mph for 2 minutes. I am not a runner so this is about all I can stand. I'd like to blame it on age but I have never been able to run. I do this for 15-20 minutes depending on my energy level and alloted time. I hope someday to increase the running time but I don't see that happening anytime soon, as I despise running. I was doing the same on the elliptical but I found that it wasn't challenging enough.
