Here's what our immigration policy should be
1. No welfare for illegal immigrants
2. End birth right citizenship for illegal immigrants
3. No amnesty for illegal immigrants. Don't reward them for breaking the law.
4. Track down and deport people whose visas have expired
5. Get troops on the border to physically keep people out(●•̃)

I'm in the United States of America (NYC to be exact)
Your post is not factually accurate.
1. No welfare for illegal immigrants
2.End birth right citizenship for illegal immigrants
The Fourteenth Amendment is a highly contested topic.
In 1866, Senator Jacob Howard clearly spelled out the intent of the 14th Amendment by stating:
"Every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States. This has long been a great desideratum in the jurisprudence and legislation of this country."
The entire situation depends on how your interpret the constitution. “Under the jurisdiction” is the big issue here, and that’s why the topic is debated. What does “under the jurisdiction” mean? If you’re illegal, you might not be considered under the jurisdiction of the U.S. government.
3. No amnesty for illegal immigrants. Don't reward them for breaking the law.
4. Track down and deport people whose visas have expired
We are not currently doing this efficiently if at all. Don't you remember that most of the 9/11 hijackers were living here on expired Visas?
5. Get troops on the border to physically keep people out
Yes, we currently have people on the border but they are not doing a good job on keeping people out.....Since people are still illegally getting in at very high numbers. We must at minimum send in more troops so that we can effectively end illegal immigration.(●•̃)

He created about 10 or 15 government agencies and programs and only mentioned how he was going to pay for one or two of them...We are broke and are going to have to borrow or print money to pay for any of these programs.
If you open your eyes last night was about how Obama Is going to buy each sectors votes for a re-election with tax payer money. It should be illegal.
The funniest part is when he mentioned Licoln and stated that the Government should do only what the people can't. I literally almost fell of the floor laughing. His entire speech almost entirely centered around the government meddling in
things it has no business in...But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe Landīca, seize IT boys, make your lives extraordinary.

It is NOT against our constitution, it was even outlined by the guy that wrote the amendment in a documented congressional meeting of the time where he plainly said that children born in the united states of foreign nationals are not united states citizens, they are citizens of their parent's country. The constitution has been 'fudged' along the way to meet the illegal's agenda

Mind = blown
Actually quite proud of america at this point. A pres that the majority of the people have spent the last year berating for his leadership comes out and makes an effort. Even the most partisan of people recognise good ideas and praise him for it. There are not many countries where people are willing to heap praise across party lines like that. It shows a maturity of society.

I like a lot of what he said last night too, but this is my problem with O now. I've given him a pretty fair chance I think, and I think he's done pretty decent given the big steaming pile he was left with, and yeah, he's had an adversarial congress that has been dragging their feet. But all in all, I keep hearing these great grandiose speeches about he's going to do this and he's going to do that and we're going to take this on and it sound great, sounds polished, and everyone get's all jacked up about it. But when the rubber meets the road, his follow through sucks.
But I have to hand it to him, the man can give a speech.

brb- emphasizing the importance of jobs and energy dependence
brb- vetoing the KeyStone Pipeline bill
Obama is just talking about the same things he's always talked about, but the things he has done have not worked.
I like Obama's foreign affairs policies for the most part, but it's pretty hard for anyone to argue that he has done a good with domestic issues.

The team that had been working on Osama since 9/11 captured him Obama just happened to be president when the team finished their mission. Spongebob square pants could have been president and the same thing would have happened.

Well said. In the coming months the GOP will have the arduous task of trying to convince people that a millionaire son of a millionaire is more "in-touch" with the 99% than Obama who is often ignored for having actually worked his way from middle class to President.
If the GOP puts forward Newt, then the task is equally hard trying to convince America he has family values and this lobbyist and ex speaker is a Washington outsider and reformer.
Best of luck
