Same empty speech we heard 4 years ago when he came around preaching 'CHANGE'. How much has he honestly changed, it's beautiful how if anything positive at all takes place he gets the credit for it whether he had a role in it or not. Furthermore he doesn't even touch the cascade of bs that went downhill due to his actions and lets not even begin to mention the NDAA/Obamacare and his entire goal of trying to control a country down to each individuals rights being removed.

I love the fact that people believe that over-regulating the financial system is going to save things. The only reason there was a bubble was because of regulation. Banks had their sheets in check before they were forced to give sub prime loans. Yes investment bankers created MSB's, but that is because they had the capacity and smarts to do so. It's opportunistic.

Now with even more regulations the banks aren't going to be lending, and the growth will be slow.


Unemployment is going to go back up in the near term once the numbers are seasonally adjusted and hopefully everyone blames the democratic party because all they do is cater to the poor and stupid (srs)



It's amazing how people don't dig deeper into issues...Obama has passed a budget because of political reasons, but instead just keeps selling bonds (debt), and the senate hasn't voted on a budget either because OMG they may lose voters!

Are you actually 27? I have trouble believing someone that age would be so naive as to think the 2 parties are so radically different.

Actually 26, but only recently started following politics (lightly) these last few years. I don't know much about stances and whatnot, but when I hear commercials like Rick Perry's about gays in the military and teaching creationism is school it makes my blood boil. Santorum is an evangelical who is outspokenly anti-gay, and Romney believes in magical underpants. Yes, every president has their own religion, but for the most part they're secularists. Obama repealed Bush's stupid ban on embryonic stem cell research (I'm a molecular biologist, FWIW) so he's a winner in my book.
