Hey guys,
I started a log back in November of my contest prep, but didn't keep on top of it. I am 7 weeks out as of today, sitting around 154-156 (changing daily). I've been stuck at this weight for a while and I'm frustrated. I started creatine a week ago, and my food was increased a week ago, so I know that has a lot to do with it, but it's still hard to watch.
Food
As of today, my numbers 5 days of the week are P/C/F 225/250/40, with 1 day of 225/275/40 and another of 225/325/50.
Workouts & Cardio
Started my prep with PHAT and switched to 5/3/1, which worked excellent. Though I do like the structure of a workout and having a game plan, I'm someone whose trained instinctively since I've started. I feel that 5/3/1 limits me in this regard, so I've been training instinctively the last couple weeks and I've set some PR's for my bodyweight.
PICS
I took this a couple hours ago, after a delt session and 30 min LISS cardio. Still need to work on posing with my posing coach, Mat Park, the Owner of INBF Canada (www.inbfcanada.com).
I'd appreciate tips on posing and just general critique of my physique (strong rhymes).
Thanks guys

Thanks, guys.
Weighed in at 153.6, a new all-time low today! This was after a refeed day, so I'm pretty pumped. Informed Joe, who has me on a pretty interesting carb cycle for the next 10 days, so we'll see what happens. I think these next few weeks will determine if I'm procard bound or not. Regardless, I'm giving it my all! You'll never know your absolute strength until you've reached your absolute weakest. -Me

Thanks, dude!
Alright, March 29 - woke up today at 154.4, but still needing to 'drop the kids off at the pool,' lol. Just drinking my coffee after my breakfast now, then it'll be time for some delts and tri's, with 10 min HIIT. This is my 3rd day in a row of 200g carbs. The last 2 days I was working with my dad doing construction and that kept my mind busy most of the day, so today is my first true test. Also, I'm working nights the next 2 nights, so I'll probably be up from now (9am) until 6:30am of March 30, and will probably nap for an hour or two today before work. On these days, I usually add in 2-3 meals and make the meals the size of 1/6 of my daily macros. It's annoying and I wish sometimes that I didn't have to work shift work, but I wouldn't trade it - or my job - for the world.
Straited glutes are slowly coming in, despite a highish number on the scale. I'm excited to see where I'll be 2 weeks from now.
I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read this blog and decides to follow along for the rest of my prep, it's like having a little corner of supporters that I don't even know. I find it can give me an extra boost.
Thanks, guys.

Update - Hovering around 152 right now. Today I have my refeed of 200/350/40-45, then going to 250/150/50 for the next 4 then, followed by another refeed. Then 4 days of 250/175/50. We'll see what happens. Just over 5 weeks out right now. I think I'll also be doing a 2nd show 8 days later (yes, on a Sunday... weird).
Things have been doing good, just waiting on the glutes!
