Good to see the old back doing better.
Mine is still tweaking a little but I always have back pain. Sometimes, the smallest things agitate it for weeks. I still need to hold back on my lifts & not progress too fast (its been 9 months since surgery). Don't wanna mess up anything and have to have another surgery.

So, after a farewell dinner for our Director, hanging out with my lady until almost 3am, and only getting a few hours' sleep... I didn't do the second part of the vlog yaaaaaay!
Just a small update there. Things will be up tonight.

Oops... Set 3 should have been 3, but I did 5. I felt pretty **** today, don't know why. If I'd felt better, maybe eaten, or taken a PWO... Who knows? Brings my bench 1rm to 201.25lbs.
Weight PR, but I'm bummed that my 1rm is down, according to calculators. Onwards and upwards!!

Wraps were ... interesting. I think that I may have been wrapping around the wrong way (starting the wraparound under my wrist, instead of over), and that left a bit sticking up. I also just felt like complete ass this morning in the gym. 0 real energy. I should have eaten beforehand, or had a PWO, or slept better, or whatever. I'm not sure what happened, but 5 is what it is.
That brings me DOWN from a 209.55lb 1rm to a 201.25lb 1rm. Ugh. I'm chalking it up to just a bad morning.
The rows were also really heavy. I will be deloading next week; hopefully it'll help.

Nice job on bench, especially considering you weren't feeling well. I think you can just chalk it up to a bad day, but at least you still hit your reps. How do you like the wrist wraps? I thought about getting them, but figured I don't need to spend any more money on stuff like that, at least for now.

I'm ... still not sure about them really. I'm going to try wrapping them in the opposite direction next time. They definitely kept my wrists from moving, that's for sure!

Not feeling 100% and a bench PR for weight is kickass my man
What is your bench 1rm down from? Those calculators are more accurate with lower reps, i.e. I'd trust it more from a 5 rep set than a 10PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

I know that I'm working 'em out, too, because my last rep is always a grinder, and my face looks like I'm about to pop a few blood vessels. I used the belt today, and I'm GLAD I kept it on for all my sets. I almost fell over my first set/rep. Hilarious... Question about it, though ... How tight does it have to be?
