    unless you have a shoulder injury, you should be touching your chest otherwise your not getting a full chest workout. its about the equiv of doing 45 degree squats like a pussbag, ass to the floor or it doesnt count. same with benching touch your chest or its not a legit bench.

    I honestly don't even know anymore. My shoulders hurt like fuk though, so I've bee pretty much just sticking with the dumb bells. If I do barbell it's declince cuz that's the only way I can touch my chest. On flat I definately feel more going to my chest, but it just kills the shoulders.

    As for the dumb bells though, everyone in my gym tells me I go too deep with them, that 90 is good. So I go just a little below 90 with the dumb bells, got 85 lb db for 15 tonight.

    dont do decline with bad shoulders it puts alot of pressure and weight on them. also i find that DB are harder on the shoulders than a barbel. stick to flat BB bench and incline BB bench.

    Im a little weird. My shoulder problems began with tendonitis over a year ago, and then rotator cuff damage in the other shoulder about 2 months ago. I prefer the dumb bells because of the freedom of motion, that I can turn my wrists in at the bottom. Bar bell leaves me feeling constricted and having everything pinched together and uncomfortable.

    Really the dumb bells don't bother me at all, they actually feel much better to me. \_(ツ)_/
