I eat lunch at 11:30, and don't get to eat till 5 because of class. I currently workout at 630 an hour and a half after dinner, I want to try working out earlier during the day so that I can feed my muscles all day. If I ate breakfast at 9, when is the soonest I can workout after? Also, what do you suggest I eat for breakfast (I have eggs, all types of bread/bagels, yogurts, all types of meat, cheeses, gronola bars, whey protein ect...)

its all about Personal Preference , you have to try and see everyone is different , if you have a big meal then go to the gym and feel sluggish then wait about an hour then hit the gym , if you are going to take a preworkout supplement id wait about 1 - 2 hours then take it and leave , thats what i do and it seems to be working for me ... but like i said its all about trial and error everybody is different .
Hope this helps .When you hit the gym, it's time to punch the crap out of that time clock !!
Never make up excuses ... If you cant go to the gym , it wont come to you .

It's the same as swimming-45 minute wait after you eat.
Seriously. You can workout whenever you want. Some people might feel slow and wait a little bit after they eat. Other people workout right after they eat.
I like to work out fasted first thing in the morning. Do whichever you feel gets you the best workout.

breakfast
Eat oatmeal and eggs for breakfast. You need a mix of protein and carbohydrates to fuel your workout. Avoid fats prior to working out and even right after if possible. Wait an hour and go crazy in the gym!! Post workout you need a mix of protein, complex and simple carbohydrates for optimal muscle growth! If you are trying to lean out skip carbs for the first 30 minutes afterwards YES

In Arnolds Encyclopedia of Modern BodyBuilding, he swears by this, don't eat within 2 hours of when your going to workout. Small amounts of high GI carbs such as white bread (rip) and juices are alright though. -Been doing this probably just about a year now, and it really works well! If im really hungry, ill eat maybe some greek yogurt before lifting, but nothing very caloric dense.
