Whew. What a weekend. 700 grams carbohydrate between Thursday and Friday. Ate nothing on Saturday save a small omelette, a protein shake, and 5 pints of various fine brews. Gained 8 lbs. Back down to 169.8 (+3.2 lbs) this morning - I fully expect to be below 165 on Wednesday. Glad I got that refeed out of my system. I'm pumped to be back on the PSMF!
Good work to all in this thread! Weather's getting nicer here in Maryland. Keep losing those lbs for spring and summer!Fat and weak, but getting better.

Had another amazing workout. Didn't really set any PR's today - my chest tri's aren't fully recovered from Saturday. I really need to get a dip belt. My arms were so pumped today when I left the gym. I was looking at my front delts and I could see the outlines of a spiderweb of veins starting to appear. It's amazing that I've gained almost 15 lbs but I am more vascular now than I was 15 lbs ago.

I believe I have found a new addiction...the diet snapple half n half is pretty damn good. 10cal, 15mg sodium, 1g carb per bottle. Amazes me how great the stuff tastes.

I still need to lose fat and my back wasnt flexed right because of the cameraWhy do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Stay Motivated Folks!
I'll tell you what, folks.... that P90X routine is no joke! Did the Chest, Triceps, Shoulders today and it burned me out... of course, afterwards we had to do the Ab Ripper X.... Its like bathing your abdominal in a lactic acid bath... lol!
Today was a tough day... but you know what... I'm still standing and looking forward to tomorrow...
stay motivated folks!

Sorry to hear that!
Down to 243 after my workout yesterday. A friend gave me his scales that I weighed on back at Christmas when I was 265lbs and 31%BF. I still question how accurate they are, but yesterday I was down to 24.8%BF which according to my bodyspace I haven't lost any muscle! 183LBM when I started and 183LBM now! No matter how accurate that BF% is... as long as it keeps dropping with my weight it sure does help my confidence in knowing that I'm doing this correctlyLast edited by bama5584; 02-28-2012 at 06:40 AM.

200.4 this morning.... I've been so damn close to 200 a few times now! Was low energy the last week or so and cut my morning cardio out at the moment but have been hitting all my weights sessions and bball/volleyball so things are going good.

Played bball last nite and sweated like a pig, so I'm sure that my loss was really water weight but who cares. Trying to stay on point with diet and exercise today in hope for good numbers tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

40 day total:Burn :158364 Intake: 104043 calories. Deficit: 54321 =15.52 lbs.
Calculations are very accurate as I have not entered numbers for yesterday which should put me down another half a pound.Add me on instagram @davidgzz1981

I hate this one. I stick with the week 1 workouts because of this one. No rest time between shoulder set and chest. It's like when they designed the workouts they weren't thinking that push ups use your shoulders and not just your chest. That's just me though. How far are you along in the program? Or are you just jumping around?

I'm really sorry for your loss. That's a long time to love a dog. How about eating only 5 pounds of grief. You'll really be hating yourself if you go for broke.
I am shocked that the Misc are human after all.
Nutrition seems to be 90% of the equation, so I'd absolutely lower a bit, granted maintenance isn't crazy low.
Rock on, brother!Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"
