I've been bulking for the past couple of months using 3x a week full body routine and results have been good. I am thinking of going Upper/Lower Body Routine for cutting. Something along the lines of
Day 1: Chest/Shoulders/Triceps/Calves
Day 2: Back/Biceps/Quads/Hamstrings
Day 3: Off
Day 4: Chest/Shoulders/Triceps/Calves
Day 5: Back/Biceps/Quads/Hamstrings
What do you guys think? Stick to my full body routine or go Upper/Lower body for cutting?
Thanks.
Info: I am 20 years old - 5'10'' - 175lbs with about 12% body fat.

I don't think it has anything to do with fat loss The decision to move from full body to a split has more to do with getting the strength foundation in place, which full body workouts are best for. Once you have a good amount of strength, good form, stability, etc, from whole body compound movements, you can start to look at a split so you can get increased focus on individual bodyparts. Doing that too soon though is a waste (2 months may not be long enough IMO).

Thank you for the reply. I've been on the full body program for about 13 months now and I feel like I have solid foundation built. However, since I will be cutting for the next month or two I won't be building much mass.
That's why I am wondering if I should wait to go Upper/Lower till I start bulking again or just start now. I'm not sure which program will be better for fat loss.
