Took a bit off benching cause of shoulder then came back, trained barbell again for a few weeks and hit 315x1.
I am sure if I have another 5-10 years on me 315 will be a warm up weight... 405 working.
ONE ****ING DAY.

Sounds exactly like the competitive Weightlifters I grew up around.
It's possible without drugs, takes a lot of work, they don't do cutting just continue with strength training... Lotta eating!
Although the pros will tell you most humans struggle to get past over head push exercises at about 195kg / 428lbs for the heavy lifters.
Then you take your special vitamins...

Actually his knees are fine and will remain that way unless he has an underlying condition, freak accident or suddenly starts squatting like a retard who quarter squats because they think hams to calves is bad for your joints. Give me a break.
I squat Hams to calves daily on squats (back and front), snatches, clean and jerk, cleans, etc. it's perfectly fine.
For those in this thread thinking a 405lb bench isn't possible without drugs are retarded. That is quite doable with out drugs.KG > LBS

Let's be honest
I just turned 50, I weigh 218 pounds, I would challenge you to find a guy who works harder than me in the gym, I consider myself to be a pretty strong, not to lean lifter, I can barely rep 315 for once, currently repping 225 for 10 on incline bench, and squat 325, anyone whose natural knows how much effort and hard work it takes to reach this level, it's so discouraging to see 40-60 year old guys repping 315-405, I can't even fathom it, I'll bet if I decided to get on trt or steroids I would be an animal, at the end of the day I'd have to look at the guy in the mirror, in the eyes, I don't think I could do it, at this point in my life I think about it quite a bit, I really don't think I'd be being honest with myself, must be my upbringing, I guess if a person can get past this and go through with it, more power to them, so call me jealous/envious, but I think that's human nature, us guys watch each other, sometimes thinking, "wtf am I doing wrong???", I think the answer is nothing!, its MY journey, MY goals, don't watch you tube videos and get bummed out, if it looks unbelievable it's one of two thing I can guarantee, one, extremely rare and natural, two, there is something "un"natural going on, my two cents
