    I do pullups nearly every day at the gym. Yesterday done 80, 8 sets of 10, not at once of course. Plus 5 reps with a 45lb plate. If I'm not sore and it's my first excercise I can do about 25 or more, and yes I use strict form and go all the way down.

    I pull it to mid-pec, and I'm fine with that. Why not just weight it if you think you can do too many?

    I answered 32 and I never do kipping pull-ups. lol. I do strict dead hang pull-ups and always bring my chin over the bar (or it doesn't count imo).

    How are we nazis for knowing what a true pullup is? That would be like racking 700 pounds, squatting it but going 4 inches down and when somebody points out you're not doing the exercise correctly you throw your toys out of the pram and call people nazis.

    Going that much higher also helps me train for rock climbing and helps me work my way to a static muscle up that I've been working at for a while on and off.

    The last time I tested myself in how much I could do was 1 month or 2 ago. It was at 17. I'm probably going to test myself again later this week. My goal is to hit 25 without kipping + strict form.

    pull ups is my most favorite exercise out of all ! can do wide pull ups 20+ easily

    I've done 32 pullups before - full ROM starting from a dead hang. I probably can't do that anymore though, since I weigh a bit more than I used to. I usually only do pullups when I'm pre-exhausted from a back or bicep workout - haven't done a max in a while. Nowadays I always do pull-ups to my chest, not my neck, and try to do weighted pullups.
