You could use casein, but its a slow digesting protein. Whey on the other hand is a fast digesting protein.
After a workout its best if you use a faster digesting protein after a workout and use a slow one for peroids where you might go without food for a while..like when you go to sleep.

Casein is best taken before bed because as IcedJunglist said it is slow acting . Whey protein is what best benefit you after your workout because it digests much quicker and your body is able to utilize the protein when it is most needed.

Don't worry about the "fast digesting" and "slow digesting" proteins. You wouldn't see any noticeable difference from taking whey or casein post workout, as long as your total macro/protein intake at the end of the day is the same. Really you don't even need a protein powder or shake post workout if you can get all of your protein from whole foods.

Essentially, the most important thing is to just get adequate protein and reaching your macros at the end of the day. You can use Casein post-workout if you want.

You can use it, I'm personally not a fan of casein protein, I prefer whey. Casein is too thick for me as well and no matter what I do it's still a little clumpy

Actually Whey and Casein hit the blood stream at the same time.

rather than neg, why not embrace edification?

it seems that, as a rep, you would want to use your knowledge to help people in their understanding.

"wishing" to neg seems like quite a waste of time?

Since you have it, use it. Just make sure you meet your macros and you will be fine.
