will you be forced to stay in bed for a few weeks? If not, liquid food does not prevent you from getting your nutrients. If you can eat your macros and if you are able to move around, walk and do some light workout until your doctors clear your for regular training, you should be able to minimize your muscle loss. You should reach your pre-surgery state in a relatively short time (weeks to months)
