How to lose weight/maintain while recovering from surgery? Halp misc

Well I've put on a few pounds this winter (as is tradition) due to the holidays, not running in ****ty Oregon weather and no current gym membership. I had a very active job up until December but I volunteered lay off to finally get my shoulder fixed. Now I'm deathly afraid that I'm going to balloon up like an ill-willed diabetic that works at Izzy's. I can't do any strenuous activity for the next 2-3 months except for PT so I'm basically ****ed. Any diets/tips you miscers would like to share with me to help me through these next few sedentary months?

For reading through this boring thread:

Resist the temptations. Start chewing gum, taking caffeine to suppress your appetite.

Eat at or below maintenance, and make sure you're not eating junk.

Yep mine was a labrum tear as well. The cartilage surrounding the socket was super stretched out and they also discovered a break in my scalpula. The surgeon hasn't explained exactly what they found or did because I havn't done my post op appt. but my shoulder was pretty ****ed from 4 years of not fixing it. Your in for a treat brah.
    For your health.

Your talkin about calories right? So for instance if I weigh 210 I should eat no more than 2730 calories? Seems kind of high just for sitting around all day.
