Benefits of ZMA? Should i take it?

Friend of mine told me about ZMA. He said it helps with his sleep and raises test levels. I am more interested in the raising test levels side of it. How do i know if i need my test levels up? Lately i've been feeling like my sex drive is kinda dying, but feel energetic in the gym. I'm only 22, should i take zma?

dont think there's much material showing any positive benefits of taking, most studies show it doesnt increase test

There was a lawsuit a short time back over ZMA and false claims, the false claim was that it raises testosterone.

not sure about the raise in test. But it definetly helps me get in a deeper more restfull state of sleep....

Dunno about ZMA I usually get better sleep from 3 other letters and my Zippo. Sex Drive dying= maybe you need hotter girlfriend? Or you're gay.

It does help for sleep if nothing else
I did logs using an iphone app over a period of month or so, but i lost them to a computer fail.

P.S. - Oh yeah, no i did not see any strength gains (did not take a test. test by a doc. so i couldn't see test level changes.)

I take ZMA here and there. I personally find that it helps me sleep a bit better. I don't wake up at night and I wake up very rested in the morning.

If your interested op, wait till it goes on sale, that stuff is dirt cheap anyways, its not a big investment.

I like ZMA for it's effects on sleep, if you are a light sleeper or feel not rested then try out ZMA. Quality of sleep is an aspect that sometimes is overlooked.

San's new sleep aid, ElixAir, has zma, melatonin, l-dopa, hica, and more, and currently loggers are experiencing libido increases in addition to the sleep effects. It's too early to tell, but the hica may have some pretty good anti-catabolic properties, as well.

ZMA is just Zinc, Magnesium, and B6.
Unless you're deficient, you probably won't see any increase in test whatsoever. That said, I do take some pre-bed with melatonin and it seems to work pretty well for sleep, or at least don't hurt anything. Muscle Pharm makes "ZMA MAX" that has 3g melatonin included, and I would be curious to try out "ElixAir" from SAN as mentioned above.
