The only reason that the topic came up is because someone was struggling with it. To be completely honest, nobody ever said you had to come in here. Your presence is welcome, as long as you don't hate on other people's beliefs. If someone seeks out my help, I will give my opinions... I don't go in the threads that are posting other inappropriate things and "preach christianity", so I at least expect the same.

Please feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it more, civilly. I don't want this thread to change its purpose.

I talked with the passport agency a few times and thanked them each time I talked with them. Also, I have thank you cards ready to be sent to my aunt, who is high up in the post office, and also the postal workers who helped me directly with the appointment and the form.

Your image tells me to prove my religion, and I never once said that I know for a fact that it's true. I do believe it is, but religion is not about proving. God doesn't have anything to prove to us, in my opinion.

Guys I really do ask that you stick to the original purpose of this thread and post either concerns about the moral side of life, non-confrontational questions about christianity (i can't promise a perfect answer, but I will try my best to find an answer for you if I don't have one), helpful insight, inspirational stories or quotes or bible verses (doesn't have to be the Christian bible), etc.


Please refrain from arguing, using foul language, flaming, or spamming.

Hey guys, just checking in before I go to bed. Had a pretty good day. We talked about judging others and ourselves tonight at my youth group. It really got me thinking about just how much I judge other people. The way they look, they way they talk, what activities they partake in, etc.... It really is astounding when you sit down and consciously think about how many times per day you talk about someone else in a judgmental way.

"Do not judge others, or you too shall be judged" Matthew 7:1

"And He (God) has given Him (Jesus) the authority to judge because He is the Son of Man" John 5:27 (Wow, we shouldn't judge anyone or anything... none of us are even close to being the same as Jesus, and this pretty much shows that Jesus is the only one who has the authority to judge people)

"Stop judging by appearances" John 7:24



The biggest thing I got out of the night, is that judgment comes into play with self-judging much more than we realize. How many times have you wanted to say something, to speak up for what you believe in, only to tell yourself not to... because it wouldn't be worth the fight. or because it would make things awkward between friends. or you don't "need" to... etc

That brings up a good point.... this thread is just for well being guys. I know that I have put some Christian ideology up and verses from the Christian bible, but that is simply because that is what I know. I would definitely be interested in hearing readings or ideologies from other religions. So, please, offer those up!

Awesome weather here today, can't think of anything better than 52 degrees in the middle of January in the midwest!!! Started a 30 day challenge yesterday btw guys. I heard about it on KLOVE, one of the christian radio stations. You listen to only Christian music for 30 days and see how it affects your life! I can tell already that it puts me in a much more positive attitude when I'm driving (less road rage, etc)
