700 dead lift possible for the beginner possible?

I dead lifted 135 about 3 weeks ago. Today I moved up to 225. At this rate 100 pounds roughly each month could I hypothetically reach a 700 pound dead lift in 5 months . is that how it works?

Excuse the title I'm on a phone

It will take years plus some to reach a 700 lb deadlift.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

hypothetically you will reach 1200 pounds in another 5 months, then 1700 pounds 5 months after that.

Increases like that early on are as much about form and balance as they are about strength...so the rate of gains will slow down.

Still a nice increase...keep it up.

Ahh I didn't think it'd be that easy. Im thinking for 400 in four months might be a more realistic goal. I kept reading articles about Arnie DL 700 pounds and how it was crazy and he's a genetic freak so I just thought I'd ask. Thanks for the help everyone

I remember when I was a beginner and I got excited and threw a bunch of extra weight on my dead lift. I was so excited at my "progress" that I didn't realize my form was non existent.

Thankfully I wised up before I got hurt. Stay safe op.

No troll thread. I work on my form constantly. With and without weight. I'll do like 3 or 4 ghost reps before I even touch the bar. I think my forms OK and doesn't faulter with weight. And 6 months and only 315? I think I'll be able to do 400 in 4 months.

When I do my max I'm doing it like 6 times. So I think I can do 245 at least twice right now. I have long ass legs and long ass arms and a really small torso. So maybe I'm getting more leverage? Idk. I fell in love with the excersize tho. Its so primordial lol.

PS if anyone ever punched me like that I'm going for the gun no matter how big or small you are lmao.

Technically when you were doing 135 you were probably able to do 225 you probably didnt try it, so it wasnt a true gain lol deadlifts have some of the slowest smallest gains and you will probably never lift 700 lbs in your lifetime for a deadlift

When you get to 315 you will get stuck for a little, everyone does. You will have to only add 5-10 pounds a week for a while, not gonna be throwing 100 pounds on each month. Look at ronnie coleman, hes one of the strongest bodybuilders you will ever see and doesnt go past 800.

Ah loving all the feedback. And never reaching a 700 lb dead lift? I don't see how thats possible unless you stop working out.

I'm going to look up Ronnie Coleman.

I don't know what the red bars mean but if I have to post more to make them green I'll do that.

Any excersizes that improve deadlifts I can do every morning in my room ?

Why would you as a beginner set for yourself unrealistic targets?!!
It's a laughing crying fact how beginners think first how much they can lift more before thinking about good form and feeling their muscles contracting during the exercise.
What will lifting 700 or 800 or 1000 pounds help you with?! Are you thinking of participating in the World Strongest Man!!?
Lifting more in all exercises not just deadlifts will not make your body like Ronnie or even have a good v-shape low fat% body. There are other factors that play the vital role in your body transformation, training is max. 25% out of it.
Unless you are just thinking of getting stronger even if with a belly in front!!!
Let me give you a bit of warning: just because you get very good at your training it should not go to your head that you are an expert.

400 lbs in 4 months seems very doable. Just stick with it.
