lol brah srsly don't get no ae selvedge jeans. you are better off just buying a pair of Levis 501 or 508 for the same price. the Ae aernt even considered raw srs. Im not a raw denim snob but others might laugh you out.

Just picked up a new pair today... what can I say... the price was right.

I have been doing the Naked & Famous thing lately, but decided to switch it up.

I purchased the WESC Eddy Raw Denim Japanese Selvage Stretch today... for $35.00 !!!!

I have had WESC raw in the past and enjoyed them... never had the Japanese Selvage though.

Anybody have any experiences?

I will post up some 1 year progress photos on some Gap 1969 Indigo Selvedge I have as well... one full year no washes.

How do APC fit? I wear a 31 in N&F weird guy and the length still seems kinda long would tapering make them a little tighter around the leg opening?

i mustve gotten atleast 6 pairs of apcs in the past 6 months because i cant find the right size and because my weight and appearance changes so much.
got them at nordstrom and i keep returning them and getting diff cuts or sizes. finally stopped and gonna buy 3sixteen st-100. there 215$ but i heard they are much better than apcs.
any opinions?

I like them and I like my APCs as well. Everyone's body type is different so go what fits you the best. If you have an American Rag CIE or Barney's New York/Co-Op in your area, you'll find a good selection of jeans.

3sixteen is actual japanese denim and selvedge and hand crafted. Apc made in China or something like that lol. Still good jeans but the stretch dilemma drives me nuts..

3sixteen is better quality but APC fades faster. I can't wear my jeans 5-6 days a week.

A lot of people who like 3sixteen also like Rogue Territory Stantons.

Just picked up a pair of unbranded tapered 21 oz. heavyweight denim. I sized down one size to a 28. They do fit slightly tighter then N&F weird guy but nothing drastic. Can't wait to wear these in.

Those Levi's are Raw and Unsanforized.

They were my first go at Raw Denim, and I was quite disappointed after the first wash when they shrunk significantly.... making all my "hard earned" fades slightly off. I would just wear them to the ground... no soaks needed.

I always cuff selvedge... Naked and Famous Skinny Guy is the only denim I have ever had the luxury of creating a serious cuff with... Dat 37" inseam.

From what I understand they only shrink about an inch in length when soaked. I kinda want to wash them in my tub now, but I don't want to ruin them.


Also, how early is too early? Should I wear them I bit more before I wash them? They don't stink or anything.

They will shrink... quite a bit... i would venture closer to 2"+

Enough that honeycombs, whiskering and fading will become misplaced. I wouldn't wash them.

Here is a "general" guide for unsanforized denim...

If you plan to wash these jeans, order a larger size. For your waist, increase 1” for sizes 27-36”, 2” for 38-48”, and 3” for 50” and up. And for your inseam, increase 3” for 27-34” and 4” for 36” and up.
