So, raw denim.

I'm looking to buy my first pair of raw denim jeans.

What are some good brands?
I know of APC and Nudies. I'm not sure if the "clean wash" that Diesel has are raw denim or not.

What do I need to know about sizing? Do they shrink or do they stretch? I'm sure it depends on what brand.

Also, do yall just buy them online or are there some common stores that have raw denim jeans?

A lot of miscers are getting Unbranded raw denim, they sell it online (and in stores, I'm guessing) at Urban Outfitters. You can size down 1 comfortably (ie your real size is 32, you get a 31).

i picked up my first pair of raw denim (naked and famous) a couple of months ago and i havent touched any of my diesels, trues or rocks since then because they feel inferior to my raw denim

only problem i find is it is being marketed towards hipster *******s so a lot of the nice washes are skinny fit which i cant even pull on cause im not a chicken legged *******

My current pair is Levi's 514 rigid selvedge. Fit great, no stretch and they are built like a tank. Only $100 too.

i have a pair of Imperial SEXI08's and Ironheart 301s that I cycle. Both skinny fit though, some people like that.

Basically denim that isn't factory washed. They fade with heavy wear and the indigo color gets lighter with every soak/wash. There's a huge community behind it and a lot more info but that's the basic idea.

Imperial Denim is probably the worst Raw denim i have......I loathe SelfEdge for its fake ass marketing

This is correct. An ideal fit for raw denim jeans is really tight as they loosen up a bit as you wear them.

depends on your price range. Both pairs of raws I have are dior, although I hear good things about samurai.

The latter, hence the name "shrink to fit". Make sure you size properly though or you won't get a good fit after it shrinks.
