Height: 5"8 Weight: 127lbs (On Creatine.. but also on Keto.)
I've been really annoyed lately cause I hate my shape.. I used to be really fat as a child but I lost all the weight, and so I got a bit of lose skin on my hips and lower belly (I think) with it as well. It pings back when I pull it though, which I've heard means that there's still some fat in it that I could lose.
So I tried a cut which was unsuccessful and lost muscle mass. This gave me the skinny fat look.
I then decided to bulk, and I added 14lbs... but probably about 8-10lbs of it was fat. My hips and lower belly got out of shape even more and looked real bad. My biceps, shoulders, legs, etc. always look really defined which I like. But my midsection is the opposite, so I still look skinny fat... and the bulk probably made it worse.
Here are pics. Right now I'm on Keto trying to trim my midsection and get a defined 6 pack and small hips. I've only been on it for a week, so I haven't saw many results yet apart from a 6lb loss (water mainly I think):
What do you think I could do to improve my shape? Should I stick on keto to maintain my mass and trim away the lose skin/fat?? Or should I just clean bulk up to 160 or something and then cut? I'm not that weak at all, although I probably look it. I've done strong lifts and pack some strength for my size.
But I don't know what to do.. it seems when I bulk I look a bit fatter and my hips blow up, and the rest of my body (traps shoulders etc don't match or widen enough). And it seems when I cut I just look scrawnier.
I just want a V shaped body at about 6-10% bf. I want to be ripped basically. Not skinny fat, no love handles (they are the worst, they make me look like a pear shaped woman haha. Wish I could cut the b****rds off.) I accept I need a lot more mass, but I'm not sure if I should cut first or gain first. And I don't think it's genetics because nobody in my family has this pear shaped look. Any tips are appreciated a lot, and sorry for the long post lol. Thanks for reading.
