I am just getting started working out. I've been doing cardio and basic weight lifting but without much results. I know that I could be getting better results with a pre-work out supplement. Does anyone have any advice on pre-workout and post-workout supplements for women? Is there even a difference if its for women or men? Thank you so much.

There is no difference. Gains come from your diet not supplements.

How is your diet? If you're not getting the results you want, chances are your diet is to blame. Check out this thread, educate yourself on proper nutrition, and get your diet in check. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=121703981

No difference for men or women but preworkout supplements are not miracle drugs. You're not going to see results unless you are eating and training correctly. With that said, A preworkout is going to give you probably some of the best workouts you've had. Go hard in the gym and stick to a good diet and you'll see those results.

My wife uses BSN's Hyper Fx, she likes it... She prefers it over NO-Xplode...
That being said, if you're just starting out and seeing NO results, a pre-workout's not going to help you out. You need to analyze your diet and workout routine first. Introduce a pre-workout to help fuel your workout if needed. But you really don't need to use one if you don't want. Hell, sometimes I just drink a cup or two of coffee before I train, gets the job done. Although usually I do use Hyper Fx just like my wife.Professional Wrestler

Diet is number one when trying to lose weight...Once you get your diet in check then you can add supplements in...try a basic multi, some whey protein and fish oil tablets
