    Alcohol and weight loss

A little overview...I went out drinking/bar hopping last night for the first time in 2 months. Throughout the course of 4 hours I consumed 1 beer and 10 shots, 5 of which were my vodka/waters. 2 hours before this I cycled 17 miles in 55 minutes, that's outside in 85 degree weather and completely hauling ***. On average I *might* lose 2lbs water weight on a 20-30 mile bike ride, and those are always also very high intensity rides done in 2 hours or less. I consumed in the ballpark of 3450 calories total yesterday. Hot wings from the bar took up a large percentage of these calories, but I only guessed on MFP which would be the most accurate so that calculation could be higher. That's about 3x the amount of calories I consume on an average day on PSMF.

I had sugars that I never consume, went way over on protein, fat, and carb macros...yet when I weighed myself today I had - lost - 5 lbs? Left me puzzled looking at the scale, I was expecting to gain 5lbs. Wtf just happened?

Alcohol dehydrates you. Plus the bike ride probably did the same. Its all water weight. It'll probably come back with some bloat the next day or so.
