So does this just go for sci or where does controlled labs get their source from. I haven't seen anything saying the specifics on their packaging or site of them using the mentioned pure form maker aji whatever their name is. Do they use this so called Chinese duck dander as well?

If they don't answer you're best bet is never to buy their products, and create as much awareness about the issue with people who share your concern.

Back in the day, one remembers lacto-vegetarians abstaining from rennet derived whey - an entire niche segment dropped buying a particular brand that sourced it in such a way. Though the impact on sales was minimal it lead to the company to change it's source of whey and even mention on the label that besides the whey no other animal derived ingredients are used in processing of this product, without a change in price.

So why isn't anyone asking where their source is? Even if it's 99% pure, if 1 percent is duck toenails, shouldn't everyone be going just as haywire?

And I'm sure if there was some questions regarding Glanbia's sourcing arise, there would be more folks on the docket that would suffer. I'm fairly sure ON and BSN are sourcing from them, unless what I'm reading is outdated.

If those companies are cGMP certified, then their purification techniques are passing quite a good level of purity. I highly doubt a high percentage of erroneous material makes it into the finished product. And if it's passing 2+ levels of QC, I'd be VERY surprised.

But whatever, it's a huge supplement conspiracy theory to get Big Supplement to push rabbit rectum BCAAs into the consumer.

Def a valid quest. One would assume that if a company is using quality material, that source would be advertised. Only makes sense to brag about using the best to sell more, hiding it seems shady. I could care less, i dont use xtend.

the funny thing is ngage is what I switched to. That and beverly but beverly only has in pill form and I don't want to take all those pills. But I have solely switched to those two becuase it is crystal clear where their bcaa's come from and what is NOT in them.

I have faith scivation doesn't have human and animal fingernails in them, duck feathers, etc. in their bcaa's....but why do they get so weird when people ask? If I was them I'd be screaming "HELL NO WE DON"T HAVE THAT STUFF IN OURS!!!!!".
