Good friday so no gyms we're open
Decided to take the day off and spend it with the family
Golf 18 holes with my dad in the morning, finished with a 90 on my home course(par 72) Could easily get to a single digit handicap if I could putt haha

how is it going? have you measured your 40 lately or bodyfat? vertical? are you throwing any? learning how to read defenses?
Hi,
Yeah its going good right now thanks.
The club season starts next sunday so focusing on being 100% healthy for the first game, Going to cut down on the lifting volume/cut out sprints and focus more on field work, Med ball work and throwing.
We havn't done any testing in a while, From all the sprint work I've done in the off season I feel around 0.1 or even 0.2 faster but we'll see ha, If i had to guess I would say my vert is now around 20+ inches
I get my bodyfat value from my scales so Im not sure on the accuracy but I'll post that along with my weight this sunday morning.
I'll be throwing almost daily just to keep loose, get the timing and playbook down ready for the first game. Trying to watch as much film as I can.
Im also going to an FBU camp in scotland 20th april - 22nd april

Very nice thread man, what was the process like for you when you got a scholarship in the states, did you send over your a level scores or did you have to take some sort of test? Really interested

Thanks man, our coach took care of most of it
After we put together our highlights he sent it off to a few D3 schools
We had to take the SAT(if you don't know its basically a english and maths test between gcse and A level standard) I got a 1600 out of a possible 2400
We then had a video interview via skype with the offensive cordinator(and head of recuitment) and gave the coach our a level/btec results and he offered us an academic scholarship based on that.
Then simply had to send proof of ID and all academic results via fax etc..
We're in the process of finding out the exact cost now.

Still researching and studying program design. The more you study the more aspects you find out about the design and the more confused you get haha. The main thing I will be doing so far is introducing med ball throws in ws4sb3 with tempo runs one day a week. Also core 3-5x per week bodyweight work + weighted core.(I will decrease the intensity on max effort days keeping everything 90% or lower unless I feel really good)
Warm up:
3 min treadmill
band walks, hip mobility
GPP
Workout:
Jump training
Box jumps(The box was around the height of my waist)
8 sets of 3 reps
Unilateral exercise (w/ added ROM)
Bulgarian split squats, front leg elevated (barbell)
40kg x 8
40kg x 8
40kg x 8
Hip extension exercise:
45-degree hyperextensions
40kg x 8
48kg x 8
48kg x 12
Weighted Abdominals:
Spread-eagle sit-ups (holding DB over chest)
20kg x 12
20kg x 12
20kg x 12
20kg x 12
Added bonus:
Just got back from a poker night and cashed in for £20

Kent Exiles and I just found out I can play for them, I might try out when I'm 15 or 16, focusing on rugby at the moment and I looked at your teams site, one of the players got a full scholarship to Boise state, I never even knew that was possible I'm definitely gonna try American football next year

Yeah, I was in the top 3 QB's and was in consideration for being picked for the All Europe team(a 21 year old qb got the spot). There was a couple of a real good qbs.
The coach said I showed good strength, speed and movement etc. good arm strength, strong competitor. He said I Needed to work on passing mechanics and footwork.
Going to focus alot more on skill work/footwork and drop the lifting volume
Thanks for dropping in bro, good luck with your goals
