What was Great About My Day?

1. 2 hours of observing NMR today .. I want more!
2. Ate terrible but interestingly I got to really feel later the effects and I DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL! ... It was a familiar feeling. It was the state I lived in before I got very clean with my food. I see just how sensitive my body is to different foods and I am reminded of what a powerful effect it has on the body.
3. worked out, worked...rested ..

What Could I Have Done Better

1. more cheerful about the holiday ... disconnected from it and that is ok but my handicapped son is still such a kid. I have to keep the magic going for him. <

Tomorrow

1. Shoulders,Traps! cardio, stretch
2. muscle study ...
3. work
4. study some more .... YOU ARE AN ANATOMY NERD!!!
5. Eat all your meals. Nutrition is 85% of how you look.

Loved being in that session today and got very clear about what my focus needs to be right now. I had a new client , she had some very complex issues going on. I had to refer her to a more advanced NMR worker. I did not like it!! ...

Realizing this is such a useful tool because it keeps you on track. The more you'll become aware of this the closer & longer you stick to a regimented meal plan with the same foods. How is your weight loss goal coming?

Never Settle for Less Than What You’ve Already Accomplished

More than anything else, it's your mental fortitude that determines you physical abilities--and limitations.

Once you've established a certain standard of achievement, fight like hell to never do anything less than that again. Never again settle for less than what you’ve already accomplished. Make those outrageous demands. Eventually, your body will fall in line and accommodate your wishes.

You are a MASS MACHINE!

I had an amazing coaching call with Skip Monday morning. It was stunning actually and I do mean I was stunned! I am experiencing a very great paradigm shift as a result. Skip really is a Master.

Thinking about how Jocelyn is always booked 3 mos out. At 175 an hour. That is what I intend. To be that good.

An answer to a question ... a really good answer.

Hi MzJules.

I believe that many times we may truly "want" to accomplish something great in our lives--but that just is not "who we are" just YET.

To accomplish that ambitious goal, we must think differently and take a series of different actions every single day than we are used to. Most of the time, we don't have a clear enough idea of what those new thoughts and new actions must be at the beginning of our journey--and we certainly haven't experienced thinking that way or taking those actions on a consistent basis for a long enough period of time.

We have to run on a lot faith and enthusiasm at the beginning.

We almost have to become a "new person" in many ways.

What happens is that we oftentimes revert back to the old version of ourselves with the thoughts and actions that aren't what's needed to accomplish that goal.

We also sometimes get ourselves to believe that we plenty of time to get there.

The solution would be to constantly remind ourselves of that goal.

We also need to constantly remind ourselves of all the reasons why it is so important for us to reach that goal.

We need to remind ourselves that time slips away quickly and we must take action every single day or our goal is NEVER going to be achieved. We need to apply that pressure on ourselves--because nothing significant ever gets accomplished without some pressure or that "sense of urgency." It's too easy to revert back to the old of ourselves that we've been for a long period of time.

Action Steps

1. Write down your goals.

2. Read your goals every single day. "Feed" yourself--just like eating. Read your goals every single day whether it feels good to do so or not.

3. Surround yourself with images. I have powerful words, quotes, images, and inspirational people's photos plastered all over my work area. I also have a gigantic bulletin board with all the images, words, and goals in a prominent place that I stand in front of and look at FIRST THING every morning after I wake up and have my cup of coffee.

4. Apply "pain." Force yourself to think back to all of time and talent you've wasted in your life not going hard for your goals. Ask yourself the tough question if this is going to just be another one of those times--or is this the time that you are going to finally step up. Using pain in the right way can be an awesome motivator.

Train Hard. Think Big.

Is it really true that the things in your past that you felt harmed and hindered you ... are they really the reason you do not move past personal challenges? Or is it because you choose to use them as an excuse. They take away your responsibility for being at fault for your lack of drive ..... food for thought.

The other nite as I entered the building at Healus I noticed a young man coming out. He was using two tripod canes and clearly had MS. I said hello and walked past then turned to observe his gait and how he was moving. I thought "he could use NMR" and I wondered just how it could impact him. Then I thought "hmmmm... maybe he is coming from Healus! ... I ran into Jocelyn upstairs and told her about the young man and she confirmed that she had indeed been working on him for some months with great success. .... I want to remember that moment. I was very excited about the fact that I might someday be able to add such a great value to someones life that was in that condition. ...

NMR training starts tomorrow. ... I am very excited. I have been forewarned that I am about to be flooded with a ton of information and I cannot wait!

I have been on the eating plan with great discipline the last 2 weeks. However I noticed myself getting heavier. I htought, hmmm I am not lifting that much weight..Ha! .. and what is up with this? .... I started to examine what I was eating and figured out that the ground Turkey I was using was not my 99% fat free but 97% and contains 9 grams of fat per 4 oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crap! ...97% my ass!!! ........... Sigh ....... I should be dropping by now.
ONWARD MASS MACHINE ..... and pay attention!!!

20 minute session Cardio .treadmill ...
Stretching and target muscle strengthening .... 30 min ...

Legs
Squats ..20lbs..3s/8 ... ... 8
Leg Press... 225lbs ..2s/8 ... 7
Leg Curls ..60lbs ..2s/8 ..8
Stiffleg Deadlifts .. 45lbs ... 2s/8 ..6

workout felt great today. Being in the gym and moving muscle, getting into a groove with it and the ache later. ... my sanctuary, my grounding place.

What Was great About My Day?

1. new client at Chiro office ... rebooked!
2. Eating clean ... TOO high in fat!!!!..but clean
3. studying

Meals were 5-5 ...... .

40 minute session of Cardio ..bike ...

weight training week starts tomorrow. I am gearing up for "49 days to supreme confidence". I am excited about the feeling of being in a competition again. It really has a powerful affect on me. I intend to use it as the catalyst for a new start since all my other starts in the last several months have been rather weak. The good thing is that I am still doing WAY more than I would if I were not trying to start at all!!! Ha!But it is about results here and this is what I am looking for with my body once again. I made a dent last round, now I need to dent it hard again.

I have built a lot of stamina for doing a lot more now. While my progress with my body has been plateaued ... I have been building more muscle in other areas of my life. I am very quickly resurrecting a career and adding valuable skills to it daily. I am building a big dream, one that encompasses many arenas. Developing oneself and trying to reach new levels in multiple places is a challenge but it does get easier after while and you just keep adding until you are moving a mountain (or fat! ..............So you see, really, it is not a plateau at all. I am way ahead of where I was a year ago ... in every way. ....

This year is going to be a heck of a ride I think.

What Was great About My Day?

1. made a good connection with a new client
2. great coaching call... I so look forward to that point of accountability
3. studying
4. time to regroup

Meals were 5-5 ...... .
Disciplines...6-6 ..
studying muscle testing now
Motivation ...2/2
Knowledge ...2/2 ...
creating Spin ... .

What Could I Have Done Better?

1.meal timings off

More Enjoyment

1. feeling grumpy today ... I control the meaning of the events of my life
Tomorrow

1. Gym .....Chest and Triceps
2. work ... I can practice the NMR I learned this weekend
3. Working out , eating, some work ...cleaning tonite
4. 6 meals ..clean and perfect
5. 5 things I need to do this week ...

great time in the gym today. Practicing seeing what I want to look like again. I was so busy being in that visualization I did not even notice that I was dripping sweat and that 40 min had passed on the treadmill.... My goal for this year is to make it down to 135lbs finally. ... I have to do this.... it is about so much more than just looking better although that will be awesome! ... It is about uncovering for me.... It is about opening myself up to all I am capable of and all the world dishes out... good or bad. I am not afraid anymore. I decide the meaning of the events that take place in my life and I can "spin" them anyway I want. ... This is not about being "delusional" about things. It is about perspective. You choose how to interpret an event... and how it will effect you.

Using pain in the right way can be an awesome motivator. ....
Train Hard. Think Big.

I've got sunsets to witness
dreams to dance with
beaches to walk on
and lovers to kiss
there's a whole lot of world out there
that I can't wait to see
My best days are ahead of me
