Lol there's not really a way to average that out. Find the grams, cups, ounces etc to give yourself a better idea and go from there.

^ lol... this. Everyone's "standard" plate will be different, and how much you cook it, etc will make a big difference too. You need to know the dry weight, preferably in grams... to get any kind of an accurate measure.

Plus, what do you mean by "a bit of meat"? What kind? Beef, pork? Or do you mean the chicken? In any event, it will vary widely, by the cut and the portion. Again, you need to know the amount in grams.

That is the only way anyone will be able to give you any kind of even closely accurate idea.

Buy a food scale. Eureka! You can now find out how many calories you're eating.

The food scale will be your best friend for weight loss, I guarantee it.

I think you could fit 3 cups of rice and 8oz of chicken on that bad boy easy.

    800 calories.

measuring cups + food scale = precision

i bet it's more than you think though. most people i know load up on rice big time...hell, i always have a cup (dry-measured before cooking) for dinner and that ends up being like 2 cups cooked-and i could easily eat 4.
