    Sipping weight gainer throughout the day.

    I drink 2000 calories from my weight gainer each day to help me get to my total 4200. Does anyone think it makes a difference if you sip it throughout the day compared to drinking it at once? I've been sipping it all day since march an have seen great muscle gains. I'm asking if it puts your body and metabolism in a more anabolic state since it is well known that bodybuilders should eat 5-6 times a day.

    It doesn't really make a difference. As long as you get your macros/necessary calories in each day, it's fine.

    Why do you need a 2,000 calorie weight shake though? Why can't you fill those calories with whole foods, or at worst, a much smaller whey protein shake & whole foods?

    Do you have a meal plan at your school? If you use one, you should take full advantage of the, more than likely, stocked dining hall(s) to fill your macro needs.
