I know most of you have seen American History X. Edward Norton is what I am trying to look like when he is ripped in that movie. Anyone know how much he weighed in that film? I still can't believe after how hard he probably trained for that body he had to give it up for other roles.

hey buddy
i know what you mean, after i saw that movie, thats when i started to bb, because i wanted to look like him too.
i only saw it about a year and a half ago, since then my progress has been pretty good.
Ed put on about 30 lbs for that role. Ed norton and myself are both ectomorphs for sure, so it's relatively easy to gain muscle fast if we train, rest and eat right.
i'd say he might be anywhere from 165-180 , nothing more thats for sure, but its a fine goal considering he is a skinny ****er when he doesnt workout (probably 150 lbs), hehe.
Anyway, here is my comparison picture, because i like to compare myself to him, because at one time, i was a really skinny kid too.
if you need any help trying to conquer this goal, just let me know man.-The Age of Mount- resumes

thanks man, i owe it all to this site though, everyone taught me how to train, and eat right.
nutrition and resting do not get enough credit in bodybuilding, too many people are focused on training, and not worried about what happens outside of the gym, thats the wrong approach.-The Age of Mount- resumes

Well, I don't think he was quite that cut, considering he still probably didn't weigh a whole lot. I'd give him between 10 and 12%, though. And with fight club, their goal was to bulk him up by the end of the movie, but as he was starting to get a bit older, it didn't come so easy. They focused more on fat loss, which was a shame. He had a pretty pitiful build there. Whoever trained him for that role I think has a few things to learn. Anybody notice how much bigger Pitt got towards the end of the movie, when he's bashing ed around everywhere? Oh, and of course you can't mention Fight Club without Helena Bonham Carter!
