You clearly have no idea about how creatine works. Please take 10 minutes and read several pages of this thread or at least do a search on other threads about creatine.
Timing it pre or post or any other way is a waste of time. this is literally the simplest supplement to take. You can mix it with any liquid at all, and take it any time of the day.

My brother is 15 years old. He wants to take Creatine Monohydrate. I workout as well, but I only take Whey after I workout. He also uses Whey. I told him since he isn't done with puberty, he shouldn't be trying out Creatine. We have not found any information regarding taking Creatine and how it can affect how you go through puberty. Does it affect anything to do with puberty? Would he be OK if he took Creatine? Or should he wait until he is completely done with puberty to take Creatine? You guys seem to be the experts, so I decided to bring the question here. Thanks for the help!

Making your own pre or post workout supplement with bulk ingredients is almost always cheaper than buying them as a pre-made product. There are exceptions, namely BCAA products, and sales, but in general, many people make their own workout supps. It is simple enough to buy a bulk creatine such as
And then just adding 3-5 grams of that to your whey powder and have it in a shake.
If you want a carb for your shake, fine, but using dextrose or waxy maize is a waste of money since that would be reducing the nutritive quality of your carbohydrate intake (there is no nutritional value to dextrose). If you do it for convenience, fine, but there are so many yummy carbs that I just don't understand why you wouldn't rather eat or drink a whole food carb you like.

I started a creatine "load up" phase, but in abt 6 days got a flu. Didnt go to gym, didn't eat properly, lost lots of water (sweating) etc, didnt take any supplements.
Now after a week im almost back, but should i start the load phase again? 20g for 7 days, then 5gr/day. Or should i just keep taking 5gr/day.
