So I have a question for you guys, I'm looking into taking creatine because my energy levels are horrible. I take pre-workout, but I want more muscle stamina. Something that will give me a
better baseline energy level for the day. I think creatine could improve my strength levels and help my workouts stacked with whey and pre-workout.
I'm just wondering if creatine is gonna make me gain quite a bit of weight with all the, "Water muscle", and make me kinda puffy. I got no problem with gaining weight for strength, because
I'm not on a cut just trying to get strong and build more muscle. So you guys think creatine would be a good idea? If so any creatines you recommend?Last edited by Arcos27; 03-18-2012 at 02:53 AM.

The only books I really read are on pharmacy. For nutrition I have only read a couple (found is just better to read studies) but the mt. sinai's med school nutr book I found to be really good when I first started. I dont remember there being that much that was debatable info wise, I haven't read it in 2 years though. As for biochem, cant say there, BUT if you want some web sites to look at, I can link them to you if you are interested

Nah creatine is pretty much harmless brah. It WILL make you retain lots of water in your muscle cells thoughs. Making you larger than normal, people say keep hydrated, but you'll be hydrated 24/7 with all the water you'll be retaining. Don't worry it'll go away an you'll lose that extra bit of mass once you get off of it.
The pros to creatine is it gives you an extra boost of strength an let's you lift bigger an harder than you normally would. Although you'll lose the water mass you will retain all the muscle you build while working out harder than usual.
I'm gonna try out gold standards mono hydrate creatine 20 bucks for 120 servings. I'll tell ya how it goes.
Edit: Just noticed the fact that you were 17, supplements are not intended for use of minors and could possibly have adverse affects on your health. Just a warnin I thought I'd drop in, but overall if it's just creatine and whey your takin no harm should come to ya brahLast edited by Arcos27; 03-24-2012 at 08:41 PM.
