Im using this creatine monohydrate: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/hp/creatine.html
I'm just wondering how much I should put in the scoop if I'm also using Jack3d as a pre-workout (which contains some creatine monohydrate in itself as well). Should I only take half a scoop of my creatine monohydrate a day? I know someone told me 3g was enough. I think I've been taking too much lately so I figured I'd ask here to finally figure it out.

I'd say take 2-3grams of creatine monohydrate.

Sure but if I was you. I should go to wal-mart and buy tablespoon measuring spoons and use though to get 3 grams of creatine

Just shake the bottle when it's half full. And putting scoop on your tougne sounds stupid

Hot/warm water. Then it'll mix nicely. I use normal water from tap (turned full red), never got it dissolved in cold water.

Say I don't drink as much water as I should be, when taking creatine.

Will results not show? Is it just simply a waste of time unless I'm taking in a gallon or whatever?

Hey guys, I'm in need of some serious help/advice.

I've been having water retention for 6-7 months now. To give you a background, I have around a 9-11 %bf. ( got it tested on an electric pediance scale my school uses for wrestlers) My diet consists of 3000-3500 calories usually (depending on the day) that consists of oatmeal, whey, chicken, sweet potatoes, broccoli, greek yogurt, cottage cheese fruit, peanut butter, walnuts, skim milk. I also drink a lot of water. I have a six day split, been lifting for 2 1/2 years, and I do plenty of cardio. I'm a lean guy.

I've had a previous creatine problem before this one. I used size-on, and saw the same symptoms. Unlike this time, that only took me 2 1/2 weeks to get rid of it.

These symptoms include severe abdominal bloating and my veins are deep indented in my body. (Hard to explain, it's like you can see my veins, but they don't pop out.) >> I was very vascular, and my veins 'popped out' previously. I've started noticing the water retention immediately after I took C-bol/Pump-bol combo. With the Ultra peptide 2.0, and all the creatine from those supplements, I realized I was taking about 8-9 grams of creatine a day. I still continued it, in hopes when I wanted the bloat out, I would be able to get rid of it. I'm 100% sure it is water retention, as my doctor, friends at the gym, and my parents tell me. It is very noticeable and annoying, as my stomach jiggles like crazy. -_- I'm certain it is not fat.

Anyways, I've been off of any additional creatine for 3 weeks now. Symptoms improved a little bit, but water retention from creatine should only last 1-3 weeks, right? I got multiple tests to make sure it wasn't a medical issue. ( blood test, urine test, cat scan) I've taken diuretics such as Xpel. Like I said, I drink alllooot of water, and my sodium intake is low. I honestly don't know what the hell this crap is. Many body builders at my gym told me that my body takes longer than the average guy to get rid of all the water retention from creatine. Some said it even took them a month or so. Is this normal? Should I just wait out another week? Is there anything I can do to speed-en up this process? It just sucks that it's summer, and I can't show my self with my shirt off in public.

    Thanks, any help is appreciated..

Sounds like a classic case of putting on fat.
