Hi! I'm new here (always had an account but never used it). I decided to start because I am having some serious motivation issues and they are eating me alive (and making me eat everything in sight).
Eating disorders took me from a muscular 150 pounds at 16 to a fat 128 pounds in 4 months, and then I gained even more fat and went all the way up to 177 pounds at 17.
I exercised a bit and got down to 158 pounds by 18, and stayed there for a year. Then, I started working at a gym, and by the time I was 20 I was 149 pounds and 24% body fat, the fittest I'd ever been. My waist was 29 inches for the first time ever.
After travelling for 6 months and drinking massive amounts of beer (and not exercising) I gained 32 pounds and ended up where I am today (182 pounds, 32.5% BF.
My question is, how do you shake past screwups? Its so hard to be motivated when you seem incapable of success. I'm 23 now and I don't want to waste my youth being a tub of lard.
