Gaspari Nutrition Vasotropin!
I want to thank Gaspari BIG time for sending this stuff out to me! I have been dying to try this stuff ever since there was even a rumor of it in development. I was in Buffalo when I got a text saying a package came in. I hadn't ordered anything so I was curious. I came home to find an unexpected bottle of Vasotropin. I felt like christmas had come all over again. Completely unexpected and thoroughly appreciative!
First impression - When the formula was first released and I took a look at it I have to admit I wasn't sure what to think. I was actually pretty dissapointed. Although I wasn't familiar with all of the ingredients I jumped to the conclusion that it wasn't going to be a standout product. I remember back a few months when Des mentioned that we would be surprised and that it won't be like other pump products, and he was right! So going into my first workout I was a bit skeptical.
THE REVIEW
First thing is first... the pump - I'll start by saying that I take the full dose or double dose I guess you would say of 6 tabs. Mind you I have used this product for about a week now. Pump products aren't something I like to judge by the first use. So here is my experience with the product so far...
The first day I used it I took 6 tabs with my pre-workout meal it was about 2 hours or so before heading to the gym. While getting ready for the gym a while after eating I definitely felt fuller and a bit harder - it says on the bottle it is also a nutrient partitioner - I worked upper body power (PHAT) that day and had very nice pumps. I had just began my cut, and was used to not being as veiny and defined as I have been in the past. Vasotropin made me look a lot leaner then I had in a long time. I was also pretty engorged all over, by time I finished arms I had trouble getting full ROM.
My experience since then has been nothing but spectacular. I accidentally took it on leg day last week - subconsciously took them not realizing it was leg day - It got to the point where it was hands down painful. I finish up legs with calves and by time I was done I was cramping after every couple of reps. needless to say I limped out that day. Even when I didn't take it with a meal I get great effects. The pumps aren't as big but the vascularity is great! Out of all the pumps products i've tried this is probably tied for number 1. 10/10 - The combination of pumps and vascularity were great and surpassed anything else Ive used.
Pics
Vascularity: 10/10 - I have noticed a recurring theme when it comes to pump products. It seems most products either have big sometimes watery pumps, or they dont give big pumps but give very good vascularity. Vasotropin is one of the few that gives both. As I mentioned in the pump description due to bulking I hadn't been nearly as veiny as before. Vasotropin changed all that. After only a few sets of I would notice veins popping out that I hadn't seen since summer.
As far as nutrient partitioning goes I can't really rate or comment. I have used slin sane, glycobol, and anabolic pump. The latter being a very long time ago. They all take advantage of ingredients that are common in NP products. I have read the purported effects that the ingredients in Vasotropin have on partitioning but I am not sure if there is any real way to tell. If anything this would just be an added bonus since the pumps are so good!
Profile: X/10 - To be completely honest the only ingredients I am familiar with in Vasotropin's prop blend are the Beta Vulgaris which is simply a nitrate source, and glycerophosphates which have a multitude of benefits. From these alone I think it's a pretty solid product, but I am sure that they are definitely not what makes this product unique. I have used many different nitrate products and have noticed they elicit more of a vascular effect on me rather than large pumps. Apparently the other ingredients in the product are doing what they are said to do! While I won't rate this I will say that I am pleasantly surprised.
Overall: 10/10 - Before anyone starts to question me here, I want to say that even thought I do like other Gaspari products and am known to recommend their stuff, I was initially dissapointed with the profile. So I just want to put it out there that I am not trying to score points, I am not biased, and I am being 100% honest. I use a multitude of products from assorted companies, and even though there are a few I am partial to, I will not hesitate to voice dissapointment in a product. That being said, I gave this a 10 because, unlike many pump products on the market it achieved both a massive pump, and great vascularity. It's also versatile while you may not get the full effects it does still work if you decide to take it without carbs. And I also like the inclusion of the Nutrient Partitioning benefits. I don't often give out tens, and I was completely taken aback by this product.
Closing Remarks
I give it out to Des and the guys at Gaspari who formulated this. Most pump products out revolve completely around ingredients like Agmatine, L-Citrulline, Nitrates, Glyverol Monostearate, and Norvaline. And while you do include Nitrates, the other ingredients are to my knowledge unique or atleast rarely used. You guys took a chance with this one and it came it better then I ever expected. And yes I would recommend
So thank you again Gaspari. Be assured I am enjoying this stuff Very much!

I want to add that I seem to be more vascular throughout the day after taking this and a slight pump is induced while doing minimal activity that would otherwise not do anything. Not something to rave about but kind of nice lol.

I broke my back about 2 years ago. Not long after I got into lifting. Due to having a rather restricting back brace I was pretty much confined to do arms. Chest was impossible I couldn't lay flat and balance myself nor could I transfer any weight. Also I could not squat more than a few inches. so for about 3 months my workouts were arms, some light legs work like extensions. And walking on the treadmill.
