200hp in a 2700lb N/A BRZ vs 265hp in a 3200lb FI WRX

Damn, is tiny; only 30" tall. 285/75 here, but is 16" wheels which puts me at 33" I'm gonna downgrade to 15" Dick Cepak wheels though; tires are $30+ cheaper and mounting costs for 15" vs. 16" are $5 cheaper each wheel.
I also wanna downgrade my rear wheel on my POS to 17s. 18" tires for it are almost $500 each :rape:Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

Parts are just too much for the S60 and Saab. I absolutely love the new Grand Cherokees. I'm trying to convince my mom to buy a new one (she has an 07' GC Limited Hemi), but they're pricey once you load it up. My mom will never sell her 07' though since it has a lifetime powertrain warranty
If I was going to buy a RWD car, I would just get a used 11-12 5.0. Honestly i'm just looking for a reliable DD. I don't plan on doing more than exhaust, intake, tune, and maybe a a few other things. I still gotta empty my wallet to finish my turbo 99' GT lol. Ah, the joy and pain of a money pit.Free Agent.

And I fukkered up; price went WAAAYYYY down on my tires to $335 ea Is good day.
Oh okay.
The BRZ needs nothing except for maybe a slight drop and the stock wheels are kinda ghay IMO. Though the new GT is good, it's a total bro ride. Also, BRZ looks a million times better than the Rustang AND you won't find women and brobrahs driving them, at least not at the moment.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

Just put brand new Billet Street Lite wheels on. Thought the rears seemed kinda hard to get on but didn't really pay attention. Backed out of teh driveway and heard a weird grinding noise. Fawkin Wilwood calipers grinding on the inner lip of the wheel, wtf! Boom, aluminum shavings everywhere. :feelsbadman:

0-60
13 wrx: 5.9
13 brz: 6.4
worried about .5 sec? bish please
a wrx is not a good DD btw ... crappy gas mileage and heavy for 265hp. only people I can see that would buy it are people that want a useful hatchback and don't know how to drive fwd/rwd cars with snow tires, or don't know they can get a used sti in excellent shape for the price of a new one. Buy an awd car to use awd maybe 10% of the year? k no thnx
boom, see times above
used sti's are in the same price range as a new wrx. would choose neither as a DD though. planning on getting a used evo x as a weekend track warrior next year though. 26k for used ones with ~10k miles

.5 sec on 0-60 is a LOT. I guarantee to that the AWD WRX would be more consistant with most drivers.
The BRZ is a great car, but it's a great car at it's price point and not a direct competitor to the WRX really.
Also the WRX is one of those cars that's sort of meant to be modded from the factory. In Japan's 280HP cap days almost all the cars that hit that figure were meant to be 'unlocked' by their owners.

I agree its not a competitor with the wrx ... I think that's why we're recommending it. wouldn't make sense to recommend a competitor in this case, namean?
if we're being cereal, the brz is more economical as a DD, the wrx is more practical with space. both are fun to drive in their own regards, but owning a wrx just means you didnt have enough money to get an sti or find a used one for cheap. awd is not necessary unless you love rallying / ice driving.
at face value (no mods) the brz is more fun / rewarding / entertaining imo."Don't ask for a lighter load, ask for a stronger back."

Taste is subjective...ugh I mean looks
Not too concerned about 0-60 times to be honest, that's why I got a turbo Mustang, albeit a never ending project. A lot of WRX hate up in this mofo. I'm about to say screw it and just get an 03/04 Cobra and ride my bicycle everywhere. That **** gets unlimited MPGsFree Agent.

ohh matt, they made the BOSS 302 from 69-70 not 71 when they made those large buick sized mustangs. Its hard to tell but i believe the one in the shot is a 70
Also, just a general warning to people wanting to buy a mystic car or paint it that way. If something happens to it there is no blending of that paint. You have to re shoot the entire car. The paint is not cheap either (its the same style paint they use in printing some forms of the american dollar bills in order to prevent counterfitting)

You been drinking tonight sir? License and registration prease.
Meanwhile, think I found an epic deal on some Afco/US Brake F88i calipers, which are more rigid than the Wilwood superlites but still use the same pad and exact same measurements. I have to call Afco on Monday about a concern I discovered, but if all is well, I'll be finalizing my brake setup hopefully early next week.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

veloster turbo bro ... its practically the best hot hatch ever.
if hatchbacks were supposed to be slow, handle terrible, deliver no driver feedback, and overall just suck.
