The guy is a nutter if he thinks that backyard 'engineering' is better than what's in the M series. If I decided to push that engineering further, there are setups that would put my 80-130MPH time into sub 5 second range. I don't think that Civic would have any chance and at the end of the way it's not about the fastest car anyway. There are creature comforts and the like that go into a stellar daily driver.
In the end, he's building a rally car. Will it be comfortable as a DD? I cannot say, but I speculate that outside of the anti-lag system he has devised and likely a choppy clutch, it would probably be quite good due to the suspension.

'89 5.0, unmolested for the most part, wanted to buy it until the owner (19 year old kid) told me it has 213,000.........and he just supercharged it......15lbs....but it runs great(with no compression test, told him thats opinion based on a butt dyno)...........no thanks

lol @ unmolested when it has a cowl hood and s/c at 15lbs especially on stock internals with no tune :facepalm: I don't think I've seen an s/c setup running that high of boost, regardless of the internals, injectors, etc. I bet those injectors LOVE running at max duty cycle. Well, idk, I think with regards directly to just turning in Fox bodies, I believe people swap in Pinto steering systems since they were built better and cheaper, iirc.
As for suspension though, it sucks on these. Somehow, people still track them and hilllclimb with them... I'm not sure if you can swap in newer suspension bits from Rustangs or Camaros or whatnot in these, but I know some GM folk convert rear ends from multilink to panhard and/or fronts from McStrut to double wishbone. Both are viable options in the Fox bod, but simply relocating the multilink pickups are the easiest and cheapest, then you can make your own adjustable arms, pick up QA1 teflon lined rod ends and laff all the way to the bank. If I had the time, that's what I would do with my front lower control arms and tension rods on my POS.
In other news, yesterday it was announced that NBC will be covering all Formula 1 races from next year till the end of 2016. I'm sure happy about that since I won't have to worry about finding 'illegal' streams online anymore.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

not sure if there any ram truck fans up in hur... but dayum.. i just saw that the 13' comes with airbags set up like the grandcherokee but refined for the half tons. they utilise incab control to raise and lower and sport tune ... fekin bad ass. ripp wants one so bad. my 07' almost have 65K on it.. its getting time to start thinking about it.

I loved my 1988 Mustang GT with T-Tops in 1990-1993. Had just about every FMS option on it, plus some you couldn't readily get. It was owned originally by a Lincoln-Merc big wig. I caught it for $7500 one afternoon when even basic GT's were going for $10-11k with a sign "NEED $7500 FOR SAILBOAT TODAY! CASH ONLY, TITLE IN HAND!"
Guy found an equally good deal on a sailboat and was short (I found out later only $5k, I really didn't negotiate this car much).
Dove Grey on Red...it was a great car to have at 19 at the time.Re-becoming monster.

I've literally had every KB twin screw that has ever been built for Fox Body (1.5l, 1.7l, 1.8l, 2.1l, and 2.2l). If you can get past the heat soak issues they are good blowes that make tons of low end torque. However, it is NOT a fawkin Whipple. They are both twin screw blowers but a Whipple is a Whipple and a KB is a KB. WHIPPLE has never made a twin screw blower for a Fox Body.......Originally Posted by Diesel0022

fox bodies are the civics of the domestic world but i just cannot stand the interiors in them. late 60's early 70s fords had much better interiors.....come to think about it most 80-90s interiors sucked because nothing beats a white car with full red leather interior...........
