If done properly bicycles can be ridden. In medical school we are given a very negative view on bicycles but it usually stems just from lack of knowledge. We also get told that protein shakes screw up your kidney. To be honest though, a lot of things can be harmful on your body: alcohol, cigarettes etc...
Bicycles can be done, but with good knowledge
Medical school can be done with rote learning in the first 2 or 3 years. After that you really need to understand what you learn. Thats the only way to do it. Theres an epic ****tonne of study and its depressing at times, but you get through it knowing there's a decent job on the other side.
It sucks however that all your friends have graduated and you're still in uni.
There's about 2 or 3 hours of study per day, except close to exams. From a month before exams you need at least 10 hours of study daily to do well (no exagerration)

Loan is more than 100k I believe.
They take a fraction of our income for it after we graduate (like 5%). So technically we shouldn't notice it but it will take 5 or 6 years at least to pay it off. The good thing is we're guaranteed a job as soon as we graduate regardless of marks (as long as we pass)

Thanks for the info, repped on recharge.
I like your blog,i use to run a blog about music it gained quite a following but then it started to die down,i had a google adsense account, but it didn't have enough money to cashout.
Some tips i would give you is to exchange backlinks with sites of similar niches,by having wordpress links on your blogroll you're giving that site one way traffic if you exchange links with other sites when people click on their page they might choose to visit your site giving you traffic. In the blogging word the more two way backlinks you can get the better,i use to wake up every morning to find out that most of my traffic came from other websites that have their my blog on their blogroll. Also put your website in your signature, then you can get people from this site to visit your blog.
On an average day i'd have 15-30 people visit my page al,but only 1 or 2 on a good day would click banners/ad's.Last edited by Metalhead44; 10-20-2011 at 01:15 AM.

From what I have learnt, yes. Of course 100% of the muscle gained from a bicycle will not be maintained but some will be. Of course, the best source for this would be people who have actually ridden, and I am sure they will agree with me.
An interesting story. I was sitting in with a senior doctor the other day who told a patient (who was currently on a bicycle) that his balls will shrink and never grow back. So there is definitely a lot of misinformation out there. We get tutes and lectures on homosexuality (srs), but learning things like this would be much more useful.

There is a limited ability to recover, but it will recover to some degree there will be scars you must watch for Chronic Pancreatitis, if you have steatorrhea (constant yellow feces) and blood sugar intolerance you may need to get a X-Ray to see how your pancreas is doing. There is no correlation between the Pancreas and riding bikes, don't worry about that.

I think its a common belief that we need ****loads of protein to grow, but I think a good amount of protein with a proper caloric amount is whats more important. I think eating heaps of protein isn't the best idea but then a lot of people do. The fact you can only consume 30g of protein in one sitting is bull****.
Really appreciate the advice mate. Its a good change from people abusing me for pasting my link. Sounds like you had a successful site. Why did it die down?
GTFO this isn't your thread. I study more because I do well. Everyone is different.
I've never taken that stuff but I've heard several people take it for exams. It's supposed to be absolutely amazing. A lot of guys in med school smoke weed, do coke etc... so its not like we're innocent people.
Thanks for the opinion on the site bro. Appreciate the comments.
