chewing them probably wouldnt taste the greatest, but i dont see where it would lose anything by doing it that way

I'm guessing you don't like that they're large and there's 3? I can't imagine they'd taste good, but I don't think it'd effect digestibility at all. I take 3 with breakfast and another dose at dinner, my dad doesn't like taking them all at once and takes 1 tab at each meal which might be an option for you.
