    What can I do?

Please help me figure out what I can do. I have been working out 6 days a week for the past 2 years till recently. I tore my meniscus, complete and complex tear, in my left knee. This has taken out pretty much all lower body exercise and any cardiovascular. I know it's not good to work upper body day in and day out. Suggestions?

Just looked at your stats and noticed the body weight of 224lbs. Then went to your body space and saw that's about a 40 pound drop since February. That's good work. Congrats!

ETA: No nuthug. Just honest congratulations.

I tore my meniscus several years ago and worked around it. What worked for me was to tightly wrap my knees and do light squats. It took awhile to adjust my feet to the right position. Than the pain became to much, and I had surgery. Mostly better but the knee will need to be replaced in the next few years.

If I had to do it all over again, I would opt for surgery sooner. I also suggest finding out if the surgeon will snip the meniscus or try and repair it. Big difference in long term belt of the knee. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion.
