As a result of my diet i get constipated too often, and because of that i'm always bloated and gassy. I want to use magnesium citrate everyday to keep me regular. Can anyone help me about this? Please dont suggest me to eat fiber, drink water, fruit etc. I do all of them, i get min. 20-25gr's of fiber and drink 2 galoons of water everyday. Tried eating dried apricots and prunes none of them helps. I also dont want to eat too many of them and mess my diet up.. So i really need help, i dont wanna get the "runs" when i'm outside. I just want to have a regular bowel movements with the help of magnesium citrate, please help me and share your knowledge if you know about Magnesium Citrate, Thank you very much

I have used a product called Natural Calm, a magnesium citrate drink mix. One dose a night helped me sleep better and kept me regular. Larger doses will eventually cause diaharea, but from what I read thats the only bad side effect. Tastes sort of like a weakly flavored tea. I've also used psyllium husk powder. Mix with any liquid. I would take this at night and first thing the next morning, if not before, I'd evacuate the bowels fully.

I use transdermal mag, much better absorption (if you don't mind rubbing yourself with it 2 times a day)

You might want to try taking 200mgs of magnesium citrate in the morning and 200mgs in the evening. I have family members that do this and have found relief.
Recall this article about other ideas to try - probiotics in particular. Along with magnesium, gut bacteria pills should help I would have to imagine.

Have you tried gut health by genomyx ? 12$ works wonders, I guarantee it will help in a few days. if you want to just clear your stomach out by the oral suction of magnesium citrate at cvs for like 2$. you will get rid of any gas bloating issues for sure.

Gut health is digestive enzymes and they dont really help for constipation, i'm terribly constipated, i eat tons of fiber and activia etc. nothing happens, tried everything ate apricots etc. even tough i drink 2 galoons of water nothing works.
I also have milk of magnesia drank 10grams of it, i know it will make me diarrhea but i want to clean out my bowels "today". But i'm looking for a permanent solution cause i'm trying to live the lifting life and maintain my low bodyfat. Walking around with diarrhea is also bad just like constipation and gas. Please if anyone know anything to help my situation share it, i guess there should be more people like me whose bowels are non-responder to many of those things.If There Is No Struggle, There Is No Progress

Constipation/Gas
I take this at night NATURAL CALM MAGNESIUM CITRATE POWDER. You start off with a Half a teaspoon at night for say 3days then one full teaspoon mix it in water and it has a good taste to and it will work. It help sore muscles to and mood swings help to focus better on what you are doing and the big thing it helps is your heart because when someone has a stroke it's because they're magnesium deficiency look it up on the Internet. I Believe that 97% are magnesium deficiency I don't know if it's 97% but it's very close to it. I used to take the pills but they don't work at all once you start your body will get used to it and you'll feel better i know i was just like you and i take a lot of different supplements like 29 different kinds three times a day and i am just your average person that try to stay away from pharmaceutical medication. I was a professional ballet from the age of 5 years old then when i got older i train from 6:30AM to 9:45PM 6days a week and i was 5'11 at 105lbs that's part of the job i think everyone knows that. So i did a lot of damage to my body. But now i am good i have a bigger build now i don't like it but if i want to live i have no choice. So that's why i know what you are going through.
