"Oh yes oh yes oh yes!"
Got to hear Carl Cox's set on the way back to school. Quality as usual, although I swear I though I heard a song he played at his UMF set from '12 haha.▄██▄

Currently listening to Carl Cox's Ultra set in the library. Makes me wanna get up and dance so bad aha. Sick set so far. I need to listen to more of Mr Cox.
DLing deadmau5's set atm.
Hopefully some of the ASOT sets next week will be sick. Markus Schulz, PVD, Cosmic Gate, and Armin... I'm counting on you

he gets heaps of **** because he comes across as arrogant and a bit of a douche in his interviews....he's defensive like that though because of the whole pop molly, rave to guetta scene that came with electronic music getting popular and at the same time that specific crowd of people are the exact type to not get his music and what he does, like for example there were heaps of people on youtube who were saying his set was boring etc, they are just kids who are too used to quick fixes while they're buzzing off drugs and not appreciating it for what it was which was a full audio and visual experience that was a completely different pace to the entire night. was exactly what I was hoping for and so stoked he didn't care what anyone else but his fans thought. actually respect him so much more after that

deadmau5 set was pretty awesome. Wish he would have played Faxing Berlin or Arguru though.
Here's an absolutely biuriful mau5 remix from like 2007 most of you probably arent aware of, one of my favorites.

Can't even compare, both were spectacular. If they were similar genres, maybe then, but they're so different I can't even rate which was better.
Hardwell pulled out all of the stops and blew it out of water, Armin still has to top this with his final set @ ASOT600... I can't wait.

you know him personally? either way I'm not saying he's like that BECAUSE of interviews, im saying he shows it in his interviews. he's like that because deep down he's defensive about his music and doesn't like where the scene is heading. there's always an underlying reason why people act like that

Yes, we're not buds but I've been around him several times outside of DJ'ing. And I'm not saying he got that way due to his interviews. I'm saying he has that reputation outside of interviews. The times I've been around him I've seen him be just a flat out dick to people. Musically, he is a genius. He's just let his success go to his head, he used to not be so arrogant before his music career really took off.

The truth is most producers are douches who chose to take this path at the fork in their lives when it came time to pick edm producer or professional WoW player. Srs. Bunch of socially retarded forever alone weirdos.
