He's 5 weeks out looking already pretty shredded. I guess he doesn't check this thread anymore.

Thanks brotha
Me too. Was worried at first how small I felt but as I've gotten leaner I feel like I can sneak a couple placings at the Pro USA.
Thanks bro, only gonna get better.
Hnnggggh
That's my goal.
Thanks bro. I gotta bring the conditioning when guys like Kiyoshi and Luke Ehlis will bring the size
Nah haven't taken any. It will only depress me to see how small everything is measurement wise. I prefer thinking its big when I get pumped lol.
For sure dude, gonna be good. Dropped 2lbs today after a couple artificial weight rises from water weight & not taking a **** for a few days.

Its looking like it will continue. I had my reservations about going past this show because I felt I wasn't going to be competitive still as a pro but as I get more conditioned I feel like I look better than expected. If I qualify for the Yorton I am definitely going all the way to October. If I don't then I'll have to pick my battles but I think I'll do a few more this year.

Looking to be in a great spot Robbie, it's funny how people always think you weight more when you're shredded? I've been try to explain to a few BB's in my area for a while now that you actually look bigger when you get shredded (the whole illusion aspect), and they still shoot for a certain weight... I guess I'll just have to use your before/after pic so they'll finally understand.

Exactly. I feel small in a shirt but when I take it off everyone thinks I weigh more than I did at the start of prep. If they knew my change in size via measurements they'd understand it a little better but calling a goal weight for stage when prepping is a dumb idea. You just take it as lean as you can and let the chips fall where they might.

Just IIFYM but I think I inadvertently do intermittent fasting waiting for big dinners and such.
I'll go a few hours w/o eating just to eat a bigger meal to fill me up. I'll also finish my food for the day by 730 or 8pm occasionally and not eat breakfast the next day until my coffee on the way to work and my morning shake at work at 9am-ish.

dat symmetry! Looking crazy dude, legs have definitely come up a lot and that hammie/glute tie-in is nasty. That's the type of conditioning I'm hoping to replicate for my next show so thanks for the motivation man

Ya buddy! I'll make some assessments based on this show and decide if I should continue competing this year or make my next step towards a better physique w/ another long offseason.
Great! The routine was solid just needed a little tweaking. You'll benefit greatly from it, just make sure you focus on good form and lifting tempo for good time under tension and then add weight to the bar over time. Can't go wrong!
