I don't mind challenging kids to do stuff, putting them in a position where they have to succeed etc... But slapping them on the head and pushing them into a stone pool where they could easily smash their head on the side etc... Messed up.

My father did something similar to me to teach me how to swim. We were in a resort pool; he was holding me and then he kind of threw me...I had to figure out how to stay afloat. Of course he was right there to make sure nothing happened to me. I don't see anything wrong with what he did.

This video however....the parents didn't do it tastefully.

I know there are scums everywhere, like here in Israel, I phucking hate the orthodox Jews, they don't work, don't serve the Army and they get so much money from the country, that makes me rage.
But Arabs here get a lot of money as well from the country and MOST of them (Not all, there are some arabs who do serve in the Army and get along with Jews) don't serve in the army, hate Jews and throw stones at us.
I learn with a lot of Muslims, Circassians and Arabs, and I can tell you this - I don't hate Muslims, but the Arabs just don't make it look good. even the Circassians are saying that they "aren't real Muslims" because of the things they do, like slaughtering each other etc...
And I get along with the Circassians way better, but there are some cool Arabs that I have no problem with them and they don't have problem with me.

This. Going into the water with nothing but survival instincts is probably the fastest way to learn to swim, but pushing your kid into a pool and watching them float on their stomach is fuked up.

the only thing that was bad was how they kept him to close to the edge so he kept hitting his head. Americans are so spoiled now days with there fancy swimming lessons, in Puerto Rico you just throw them in the water just like this. The kid even has a floatation device
