When under anesthesia all brain activity stops except functions like heart kidneys etc, there is no "mind" left, there is no feeling of time passing like when you're dreaming, no feeling, nothing

Had it many times, maybe that's what it is when you die, just nothing.

Holy ****ing ****, you just blew my mind like no other. Been under a few times and it's literally just a black nothingness and you have no idea what's going on when you wake up (you literally look and feel like the is this real life monkey when you first come to). Maybe that's what it's like when you die? Scary crazy to think about.

Lol @ you weaklings. My immune and nervous system is way too advanced to lose to anesthesia. Have a defense of steel you'll need more than that to knock me out

Have fun with....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anesthesia_awareness
Edit: Guys, just a warning. Do not think about ANESTHESIA AWARENESS just before you go under. If you think about ANESTHESIA AWARENESS before you go under, there's a good chance you will be affected by ANESTHESIA AWARENESS. Sorry, I should have made that clear earlier.Last edited by ClownToucher; 01-09-2012 at 07:34 AM.

is it possible that's how life after death will be like?Is it possible we wont feel anything?Whats the meaning of life?I'm scared whats the point in all of this...we all wonder i know but none has the answers...and if God exists who created God...and who created the creator of God....its a never ending cycle...maybe after death we will be able to understand?....

I don't know. I spend too much time thinking about what death is like and just recently came up with this idea. You can also compare it to what life was like before you were born. It's really hard to grasp with a human mind though.
However the most logical answer to me is that when your brain shuts down you lose consciousness and it's nothing - no point in even trying to comprehend what it's like. Kind of depressing (because we have egos) but at the same time not

Last time it took seemingly longer to kick in. "Are you feeling drowsy yet?" no, i don't think so... Not yet... *watching air bubbles in the iv tube*
Next thing I remembered was waking up thinking my dog was crying. I swear I heard her crying and whining to get out of her kennel, but I was just in an open recovery area. I asked the nurse where my puppy was, lols were had.

I think about death every day.I think i came to this conclusion too, like yourself...but as you said its so hard at this stage, being alive and with our minds to fully accept the concept...it is depressing for me too..i guess believing in a God makes things easier...i want to believe but im confused. So i guess live life at the max?
