Swimming after lifting good or bad

I was curious is it good or bad to swim after a workout... After I lifted my chest I can feel it pretty well but after I go n swim 10-15 laps I dnt feel like I did anything anymore... Am I hurting my progression or is it all in my head?

10-15 laps won't hurt at all, it's in your head.

Swimming is great! As you move your arms and legs in the water, the body is getting a complete stretch! You should ideally stretch before AND after your workouts to allow the muscle to return to it's natural state and elongate it in areas such as your biceps/forearms where development of unfavorable gaps can occur.

I don't know if this matters, but I would consider swimming gracefully over relentlessly.

It sounds good as long as you don't drown. Not sure I agree with 'complete stretch' though, that depends on the form someone swims with. The pool is good for active stretching but since you're already weak and potentially tight, using gravity or apparatus to do passive stretching might allow you to get a greater RoM.
