Cause I dont know guyz? Well, neither do u
Since Time itself began at the big bang, the question doesnt even make sense. "Before" requires time, you cannot have a "before" when Time doesnt even exist. This question makes no sense at all, and all it shows is ignorance of our universes physics.

So, what happened before the big bang???

If nothing happens, (since there was nothing before the big bang presumably), then who's to say that time is passing? Time is a man made measurement but if nothing is HAPPENING, then nothing is being measured by time.

Your understanding of the big bang theory is retarded, as it doesnt have anything to do with where the matter inside the singularity "came from"
If you are not a troll, please go educate yourself
Time is a creation of man, but "no such thing" isnt really the wording I would use to explain that. Time, being a creation of use, is just not understood properly. We think of it as a constant when it is not even close.
A lot of intelligent people think this. There is just no evidence for it, and it may be impossible to substantiate. So it will remain a philosophical claim and nothing more for now.

for all practical purposes time is just a recording of how things are changing and how chemical processes are being carried out, however before the big bang it is speculated that all matter and dimensions were compressed into a singularity(a single point of no size and no shape) so assuming that this singularity never changed before the big bang (ie the stuff comprising the infinitely dense and infinitely tiny point did not change/move around etc.) then the only thing before the actual big bang was the singularity, which only went under one change(expanding during the big bang) so by that logic the singularity was the only thing "before time" but time didn't really start until physical and chemical process began once the big bang happened.
so as far as we can hypothesize the earliest thing in existence was the infinitely dense singularity that contained all of the matter in the universe in a single point.

South. And more north.
I believe that the universe is, always has been, and always will be, and ever expanding and shrinking cycle of matter, similar to a super nova.
Universe gets too big, starts shrinking.
Universe implodes in on itself.
Can't contain own mass, proceeds to re-expand, producing another "big bang"
Repeat
Another way to look at it would be that at the center is a massive black hole, or a temporal rift of sorts, and our universe is the result of matter being expelled out the center of it because on the other side is another universe being sucked in. (this is just the scifi nerd in me thinking though)

You speak of "time" as if the big bang started "time." The reality is that time is independent of the universe itself. This of it this way: does time cause a clock's hands to move? No. Mechanics and entropy do. Does time cause you to age? No. Biochemistry and entropy does. The big bang was not the beginning of time, but rather the beginning of entropy. We know that this is true because of the thermodynamics paradox.
In sum, just to clarify things, "time doesn't exist, clocks exist."
btw time can be expressed in terms of entropy, which makes much more sense."For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer."

?clocks are a creation of man, clocks are used to measure time
Space time exists anyway, fukc all you say.
We did not 'create time', we created a word for it and a way to measure it. Time is always there and always will be, if all humans died do you think everything would just disappear, im not on the same wave length here
