    Since it is the winter months and I am more suceptible to being sick I take vit c as well. I don't want anything to keep me from the gym or any other activities!

    I just wanted to say if you choose to take a calcium supp. be sure it's calcium citrate NOT calcium carbonate.
    this is because the citrate form is 'broken' down by digestion and thus more bioavailable for your body. the carbonate will pretty much just pass through your GI making it a waste of $.

    I DID IT....100miles of road...3500ft total gain/loss...on my mountain bike FTW!
    2. Mountain Madness 1/2 marathon--July/07
    Done,time sucked..but I wasn't last *helpful tip: not good to do sprint intervals day b-4 1/2 marathon.

    3. Mt. Werner 5mi vertical (2,180ft) run Aug/07
    4. Jelm Mountain 11mi run--Sept/07 (I WILL conquer the mountain this year!)

    Lately have been taking "Horseradish, Garlic & Vitamin C" (Blackmores Brand) and Echinacea to boost my immune system.

    I do take calcium in addition to a multivitamin. I recently read about when to take these. If the multi contains iron, don’t take a calcium supplement at the same time; iron interferes with calcium absorption. I take a number of vitamins for various things, so I won't bother to list them, but I take everything in order to get the most benefits of each.

    I usually take Womens Muti-Vitamin, and some days Berocca (for the B12 hit!)

    I am off to the doc this morning to get some blood results back, based on that will determine if I add more iron supplements. (I am anemic)
